I'm wondering if this has to do with the BTD.... I have always been easily chilled, I am cold all the time. But since starting the BTD - I haven't been cold! last winter I could barely get out of bed on days it went into the 20's - but this year it isn't bothering me at all - on many occasions my dh asks me if I'm cold - and I'm not but he is! His hands are cold and mine are nice & warm.... this is VERY unusual...
Any one else notice this or have an explantaion... I'm really happy about it!

Thanks Lola - Happy new year to you!
I thought it was probably something along those lines.... I felt good before but I can tell my body is working much smoother and efficiently - it's great.

dancingmonkey--I've noticed the same thing. When I was younger I never had a problem with cold hands or feet. Then about ten years ago I had my thyroid gland removed, and afterwards my extremities were ALWAYS cold, often to the point of being really uncomfortable. Over the course of the last year, since I upped my compliance on the BTD, the problem has gradually faded. Sometimes my feet still get cold, but they warm up now if I put on an extra pair of socks or something, instead of staying frozen. Woohoo! |

Yep, no more cold feet and a tolerance to cold are the first things I noticed by eating the BTD way (within a couple weeks of starting the diet). Now it is the people who "love" the cold who are putting on sweaters while I'm still in my short sleaved shirt. It's not that I can't tell that it is cold - it just doesn't bother me. |

Brighid - you are right about that - Whoo hooo! What a great added benefit - this was one I hadn't even considered!
Aeowyn, I'm having the same thing happen - My husband has NEVER complained about the cold - but the last few days it's been pretty cold & wet and I hasn't bothered me - I'd normally be bundled up and whining!! But like you - it just doesn't bother me now. Yeah!
