I  am type A- and would like to address a h pylori condition with Monolaurin but see that this supplement is made from coconut.   Monolaurin seems to kill the bacteria very effectively for many.  I really would like to use something other than antibiotics to work thru this.  Please advise y'all thanks!

Monolaurin is a pure extract from coconut oil, to the point that it is safe for someone with a coconut allergy to even take it. So even though it's derived from coconut, it doesn't carry the same properties/proteins/etc that may be problematic to someone who is sensitive or who is Type A. It is just a purified Medium Chain MONOglyceride...when you consume coconut oil, only a small percentage of lauric acid (1-3%) is actually converted to the antimicrobally active monolaurin and so it is a bit of a distinct and very hypoallergenic substance. In fact, monolaurin was first discovered in mother's milk where anywhere from 3-20% of mother's milk is actually lauric acid.
