Just wanted to share something with everyone, and get opinions. Ive read the ER4YT book a few times, and had always wanted to incorporate the bladderwrack that is suggested for help with thyroid function. I decided to take it for two weeks to see if there was any difference. I forgot about it really, and wound up not even realizing it has been almost a month of taking it.
Since April 3, I have lost four pounds. About a pound a week which is widely considered a good and safe pace. Granted, I have also been doing my workouts--lifting weights--and even though my food has not been spot on, I am still seeing the benefits of adding this to my supplement regimen. Soon I will start cooking for myself again, since I am working and actually making money now, so I know there will be even better results when I make sure there are more beneficials in my diet and I get ALL the avoids out of my system.
Just thought to share my experience; it might help some of you as well. But I also have friends and followers that are interested in it, but either don't know their type or are not an O. Anyone know what the guidelines are for other blood types and bladderwrack? Considering that it is full of straight fucose and all blood types (to my understanding) start out with the fucose building block, I don't THINK there would be adverse effects, but I want to be sure.
Thanks all! |

It's interesting you're talking about bladderwrack because I do purchase the supplement for my type O husband, but my SWAMI also rates it as a diamond superfood. I'm not surprised you're losing weight because, as you said, eating your beneficials, eliminating most avoids, and stimulating your thyroid should have an impact. I can't say my husband is losing weight, but he found that good sources of iodine (such as bladderwrack) help prevent gout flare-ups which he used to get a lot before the blood type diet.
I'm sure there are other benefits of bladderwrack that I don't know about. All I know is Dr. D does the work for us in determining the individual ratings of hundreds of foods. If it appears to work well for you, just go with it! |

Thanks all for the comments; I was out of town, so sorry for the late reply. My only question is whether or not it is good for other blood types to take. As I said, as it is fucose, it would *seem* to be ok for others as well, but I don't want to tell people it is and have them get nothing out of it. |

Would it be ok to suggest for a Type O who has had that 'radiation pill' for thyroid? She has ballooned in size - never seen someone so puffy |
