Anyone got an idea about these bitters in particular?

I thought I'd try a few different ones. None of them do nearly as much as Underberg. It seems really helpful in getting my pathetic joke of a digestive system to do anything. (Nothing is odd about undigested food, or obviously very wrongly digested, and always impecably slow)

It's great after taking some, like maybe I am getting some of the nutrients I need to feel tired (normal, in anyway).

I've been a bit concerned after listening to that podcast that said after three months if the patient isn't changing they should be concerned. It was over a year for me and it's been months of slow, little happening, but no joke bitters seem like a way around something I can't identify.

Couldn't care less Lola; I'd do crack, baby seal, PCP, spotted owl soup, black rhino ribs, you just name if it'll do something and I'd be interested.

While I believe the food recommendations are good, the concepts true, none of it means anything if I don't digest well enough for the foods to influence health.

Bitters are mentioned in Eat Right for Your Type for A's I love them in pineapple juice.

If I am not mistaken the Europeans use them before heavy meals.

Enjoy!

Not yet. I'll look iit up, as I've been just basing trial on local availability.

Underberg servings are .67oz , and I think taking a larger dose like that, instead of a dropper like with health food store versions is best. In fact for that reason the health food store one I got on sale is sorta worthless at 2oz.

I don't know. But I ate this morning and later had lots of the good chest pain, so I'm pretty convinced I'll be using them for a bit.

Sooo overnight, after consuming lots of soy protien and bitters, my urination is pretty normal (strong stream that fully empties). That's been a problem basically my whole life. For a week or so when I consumed tons of HCL and did the NAP protien (A), along with some supps, I had regular urination. Other than that I specifically can only recall one other day of my life that I had a normal urination. Bitters work better than HCL, for me.

My night vision is much better, maybe vision in general, my sinuses are fairly clear, and my ears feel very clear.

DOS, what brand of bitters are you presently using?  Glad to hear you're getting such positive results.

Is this your first experience with bitters?   Just for the record, how long are you using it and how
much and how often are you taking it?  I figured if this thread is ever searched in the future, you'd
be sharing valuable information.

Also wondering if anyone has tried other brands and had success. I was reading about Flora.

If it's working for you, keep on using them!

As far as the "things should get better in 3 months" thing, it's probably just general advice that healing should happen in a certain time period, otherwise it indicates a deeper problem. They're not saying to discontinue use after 3 months, just that there might be additional causative factors to be explored if 3 months of this product doesn't have dramatic effects. Is that really news to you? That something deeper is going on with your body?

If this product is allowing you to absorb nutrients so that your body can use these nutrients to heal, how can that be a bad thing? Even if something else is going on with your body that continues to be untreated or undertreated, this product is allowing your body to do some much-needed healing.

Underberg is a digestive bitters, i.e.  Taken after heavy meals, as their motto goes, "Nach gutem Essen".

Perhaps I spoke a bit soon. I had one good day of urination. But it could be because I was trying something other than Underberg. Fernet-Branca doesn't do the same thing as Underberg. Perhaps Becherovka will. Just trying to get cost down some...

I've been feeling several aches n pains in the morning. The soft ringing in my ears is annoying.
