Hi, can anyone tell me if the supplement camelina oil is ok for B's to take please?
I thought it was in some of the typebases but I can't find it-or I'm not looking in the right place. Think it's related to canola/rapeseed plant which is bad for B's so that's why I'm wondering if its ok for me. Seems like a good healthy oil otherwise? Thanks!

In Genotype it is ok/diamond for all 3  B appropriate genotypes
- however I am not into modern seed oils at all
- I stay traditional with mainly olive oil and ghee.
I find the level of omega 6 so high that personally I would only use it medically and not as cooking oil.

Esther, that simply isn't true. It's fine if you personally want to ingest only olive oil, and not have any walnut, flax, etc oils, but please don't pass along misinformation.

Camelina oil is not rated for BTD, but flax, walnut, almond, evening primrose, and black currant seed oils are all acceptable for Bs.
