I just got my delivery!  Now, I must be extremely caffeine sensitive because after the El Dorado the ringing in my  ears returned.  As I said previously, I just finished a 5 day green juice cleanse and am reintroducing solids back into my diet - also had a large green ice tea yesterday but that doesn't usually give me the "wired buzz" that coffee does.   Its not as bad as usual - I haven't gone through a whole day with the program yet - starting my morning now.  I feel absolutely fine - just the little high pitched buzz/ring in my ear.  I'll go through my day and see what transpires.

Desiree - I noticed the instructions say to take El Dorado between meals.
When did you take it?

I haven't been able to order it yet so I can't really help you but I have some thought on caffeine.

I can't tolerate caffeine or actually many herbs and suppliments first thing in the morning or on a completely empty stomach. Even Green Tea a Diamond for me.

Once I've eaten  breakfast I'm better. I still have to be careful (esp about amt of caffeine) but I'm ok with my suppliments, even between meal ones.

I hope you will tell us how you are doing - if you adjust to it.

I see you are also a non-secretor.

Hi Purl - I take it in the morning, get ready then have breakfast and my other suppliments.  It says take one twice a day-not gonna happen.  I'll be bouncing off the walls and proclaiming my opinions, loudly, from my soapbox!  I'm cutting back on the green tea because I really want to be able to see if this product works for me.  My energy level has gone up (fantastic walk through the City yesterday) - but I'm also easing back into solid foods after a juice cleanse, first meat was yesterday, a little turkey in a vegatable soup (tuna salad at lunch).   The energy is great - I'm just trying to figure how to get the ear ringing to stop.

Yes, I'm a non-secretor.  There are challenges with that. Can one make a wish to be a secretor and make it come true?

Wondering if I can take my first one, first thing in the morning with my hot water and lemon, that I add beet crystals to.  I also add my Trehalose Complex to the last  few mouthfuls.  Then I go off to Curves, and come back and have breakfast.

In a general question/general answer position:

Which supplements could El Dorado possible replace or be taken in place of since my financial situation allows for limited supplement purchases?

BluesSinger - I don't think it would replace any of the basic supplements because the basics seem to be such a necessary foundation (for me, anyway) that it would behoove you to make the sacrifice, at least once - to see if it works for you.  Before I started with the BTD/Geno/SWAMI diet I felt like the walking dead, so I make it my business to put my health and quality of life before anything else, or there is no "anything" else!  I used to struggle to get the supps I wanted but now I've worked it into my budget.  If I'm low on $$ I may just get the multi-vitamin, Polyflora and Deflect, until I can get the full pack again - and stay VERY compliant with my diet.  Perhaps that would work for you?  Maybe Lola can pipe in.  She's a wiz at this stuff.

Aside from that - I am feeling increasingly fantastic with my El Dorado! A little ringing, still, in my ear.  Cut back on the huge green teas - doing dandelion and chamomile.  I've up'd my exercise!

Buying multi-vitamin, Polyflora and Deflect is $106.85 (a dollar less if using exakta instead of polyvite)

Buying Polyvite, Phytocal, Polyflora and Deflect is $109.95 in the Basic Pack

To save money I would buy the basic pack and then cut the dose in half so it lasts twice as long.

C sharp and Desiree,
I do just that!
Basic pack, one of each in the morning after breakfast. It works because I try to get as many nutrients as possible from food first.

I tried the El dorado but was not consistent...kept forgetting to take it between meals!! When I did remember, I felt heart palpitations within an hour after taking it.
Now I am trying it only once a day between breakfast and lunch.

I'm taking one first thing in the morning and the second about 4 pm before supper.  Started Friday Jan.17.  No problems so far, but no increase in energy yet either.

I just ordered the pack & am a little leery of the El Dorado. My metabolism is good; it's the appetite that is beyond what I should eat.  El Dorado is supposed to work with the metabolism. I think that I will take one a day instead of 2 (I think that is what is the dosage.).  I remember getting heart palpitations with MSG or other baddies years ago, & they ain't fun!
When they say between meals, how long is that before & after?  I tend to eat often & less often if I am out of the house or really busy, so I need to know the timing.
If the El Dorado (I almost wrote ED - Ha!) does cause palpitations, would it be better if I take if before exercising to burn it off or better to be calm after taking it? If I take it once, I plan to do it in the morning.

How long are these products on sale?

BTW, the UNIBars are 20% off. YUM!!!!!!!!!!

Mrs.T, I had to look up the time frame for in between meals and I came up with, 2 hrs. after a meal, and an hr. before a meal.  I take one first thing in the morning then go to Curves or in the sauna.  I take a second one around 4-5.

I'm going on my second week - I've only been doing one El Dorado in the morning - and energy has been great.  The ear ringing is diminishing, still there (very light tone) but not like a bullhorn anymore.  I have been compliant with my diet and with portions, walk just about every day as well as some stretching, planks and push ups.  (This is what I've always done) I've lost about 3/4 of an inch in my waist and my belly is going down.  My pants either fit correctly now or are a bit loose in the thighs and around my waist.  I've really never had results like this before so I'm assuming its the D'D's products.  I'm very encouraged - thinking of adding that 2nd El Dorado, about 2 pm - although I still have the energy for a power walk at the end of the day.  And in San Francisco with its steep hills it is truly a power walk!  I am sleeping very well, not getting up in the middle of the night as often.  And I dance more - to songs like Pharrell's "Happy" - try it!  This is just a week & 1/2 in - I must be dreaming...

Desiree,
Oh my goodness! I love that song and have been using it in my "dance workouts" in my home gym! Fun!
I do feel a bit more energy with El Dorado but haven't noticed any change in weight.
Like Mrs T, I think my metabolism has been good, but my appetite is strong...

Yes, cajun! Its my new happy song, along with many others - like "Golden" by Jill Scott.  I think you can have coffee, yes?  Being the B non - Explorer, I'm very sensitive, so maybe that's why I feel it more.  I believe the Glycosia is a major contributor in the whole program. Also, I've been ensuring I eat LOTS of fresh veggies with lunch and dinner - salads, I love salads with all the lettuces and raw vegetables I love.  I right size the protein and basically have as much salad as I like (with my own olive oil & lemon dressing. No sugar and I limit grain carbs strictly - they make me crave.  I think this along with the harmony deluxe is keeps me pretty satisfied.  The El Dorado keeps my dancing shoes on    This is just how I feel its working for me.

Ahh, ok, so you are taking a combo of Glycosia/El dorado/Harmonia.?

I feel my heart palp if I take 2 El dorado daily( I do have explorer in me )
but one mid-morning is working fine. Yes, I have coffee as a superfood but only drink it about 3 times a week as a 'misto'..hot soy milk on bottom with plain coffee over that and one raw sugar. I do take harmonia in my smoothies, about twice a week and alos take glycosia every once in awhile.. I might try a combo myself and see how it works!
I eat a mixed green and raw veggie salad everyday for lunch and sometimes again at dinner. I prefer the taste of raw carrots, onions, green veggies and lettuces, also. I eat grain carbs and beans almost daily. They are numerous on my swami. I do think I need to review my portions and frequencies, though.
Keep on dancing!

Are you using the combo or just taking El Dorado?  Are you sensitive to caffeine?  Did you change your diet or exercise routine in any way?  Thanks....just curious.

I got my 'pack' the other day. I was afraid to take the El Dorado(I planned to but chickened out), so today I took half of it out of the capsule & drank it with water. Yeah, it tastes bad, but I'll make it.  Tomorrow, I'll take the other half in the capsule! I didn't get any palpitations!

I am not taking the combo and yes, I am sensitive to caffeine. I have not changed my diet or exercise routine. I do notice I now have smelly gas. Not sure what that exactly means though lol

If you are eating no avoids and losing weight, you are most likely detoxing something that is hard for you to digest, which is causing the smelly gas...  Hopefully, you'll get through this soon and enjoy better health.
