Hi all ~ new to the site, but working on the BTD with my hubs over the past year. Type A+ and pescatarian (fish, some dairy, but no meat), take multi-vitamin, along with Folic and Biotin, plus Fish Oil.
My question, if anyone has encountered this, is it okay to continue with normal vitamin ingestion when working through the BTD protocols? I have a few gastro-intestinal issues, but CT scan showed no signs of gall bladder stones, etc., so wanted to peruse the detox, liver enhancement, and metabolic protocols.
I don't want to overwork the system if possible, but want to make sure I get all vital nutrients (while working the BTD diet, I realize I probs don't get everything I need daily .... )
Thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
