There are a variety of other calcium supplements on the market to choose among if that is your preference.

Eating a significant portion of your daily veggies as leafy greens such as collards or kale (for example) may be another solution.

Thanks Lloyd but is there a 'type' and a base amount I should get?

I seem to recall Dr. D'Adamo's addressing this in his books, for O.

Take a look at: LR4YT, as well as the Menopause and/or Aging books, and the Encyclopedia. I'm pretty sure the information you seek is in at least one of these places.

What about Dr. D's Clear Cal?
http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP037

It's the same calcium as in PhytoCal, but without the other minerals added.  You can find other sources for the other minerals and still get this superb calcium.

Have I read somewhere that Peru and points south is a go-to Seaweed Source? Anyone familiar with that?

Depending on time brochures are produced, sometimes the Calcium is coming from Northwest Ireland:

If you want to be sure on the fucus plus you can ask their support team at: 877-226-8973
or 203-761-0042.

My source has been removed from the Internet, and I had to use a cached copy to access it.

More recent material does not say "Southeast Ireland", but uses "North Atlantic coast" instead.
