Hello, I just wanted to chime in on the closing of the Brooklyn store. When we opened the DPN store in New York, we had anticipated the law providing licensure to naturopathic physicians would be passed. Unfortunately, the law was blocked and licensure to allow naturopathic doctors to practice in the state was denied. Because of this, it was difficult for us to have ND's working there in an unlicensed state. This coincided with the lease renewal, and we opted to close the store as of June 30.
All the patient files will be sent to the COE; people who have been seen at the store will become existing patients of the COE either as a private patient or as a shift patient. All store customers can order products on line through the website or call customer service. All medical questions should be directed to the COE, and the COE will respond (the COE does answer phone calls).
If you have any questions, or difficulty reaching the COE, please do not hesitate to contact Customer Service at DPN in Wilton, CT, at 1-877-226-8973. Best, Ann Quasarano Public Relations, D'Adamo Personalized Nutrition
I'm surprised I didn't hear about this before it happened. I kept on thinking "one of these days I'll get out to Brooklyn and buy some supplements without paying shipping costs" or "I'll get out there for a full evaluation when I save up enough money- so much easier than figuring out a way to schlepp out to CT."
In reality, I only made it there few times, and all in the first few months.
