I take 1000mg Tyrosine, 500mg DL-Phenylalanine, and 500 L-Glutamine in the morning upon awakening.

Then I take 500mg Tyrosine 500mg DL-Phenylalanine, and 500 L-Glutamine two other times - once mid morning and once in the late afternoon.

Lately I've been drinking Holy Basil Tea mixed with Yerba and I've noticed some headachey areas above and behind my ear.

Also I haven't felt quite right. My body starts to ache all over around mid afternoon and I've had alot of fatigue.

Do you think there's any connection?

I've been eating about 95% compliant with my Swami for 31 days now.  I've noticed my gut is healing rather slow however.

I thought after all this healthy eating I"d be feeling alot better by now.. but I'm not.

I am getting a sauna in a few days and I hope that that will help move some of the toxins from my body.  I've lost 15 lbs but have about 60 to go.

thanks for any input, insights, etc.

which protocol is that?
thought tyrosine, and the other you take along with it were all factored in our personalized reports? contained in the foods we are advised, according to each

contained in the hunter activator

are you taking those or making your own formulations?

try going without and see how it goes for a while

I am so far very pleased with the membrosia mornings, with some uridine..
induces cerebral autophagy.....advised by Dr D

ooh weew as Lola said, this is heavy stuff... I think I'd go for the half of those and see how your body will react..... I only do 500mg's L'Tyrosine in the morning & afternoon, tried onec 500 mg's of phenylalanine and got nearly crazy of feeling over
awaken... heavy this stuff I can only take 250mg's wise if even that amount...

perhaps would you want to give a try to 500mg's of l'tyrsoine and 1000mgs' of AcetylL'Carnitin?!

All the best from Switzerland ....

HI Lola.. sad to report that Hunter Activator, Hunter Catalyst and Hunter Synergist all recommended for me give me horrific IBS. The first time it happened was in 2010 and I spent over $1500 trying to figure out what was wrong with my gut (going to a specialist, etc.), and I did not connect the two until last year when I tried these supp's out again and the IBS came back with a vengence.  When I quit those supp's the IBS went away.. so I don't touch those supp's with a 10 foot pole!

I got the mood cure and diet cure books by Julia Ross because I could not get my brain chemistry to feel good.  I took the tests in those books and discovered I needed the 3 supps I am taking.  I also take tryptophen at night.  When I pull away from these supps I get a low level darkness and fatigue.  I am slowly easing off my dosage as I get more and more involved in staying with my Swami food protocol but right now that's what I need.

What you are taking is not recommend in my Swami and my budget is such that i cannot get into all those diff supps right now.  I just have to fly with the basics and so far what I'm taking makes me feel good and balanced.

However, I was asking if Holy Basil tea might be interacting with the Tyrosine or other amino acids?    Any thoughts on that?  Because I started the Holy Basil tea about a week ago and I've been feeling weirder and weirder.  I also added alot more Yerba Mate.  So maybe there is some mis-alignment of brain chemistry being produced by the aminos mixed with these two teas.

I can't answer the question about tea interaction, but I can discuss the gut healing slowly, weight loss, etc...  Healing has not been a constant feeling better and better path for me, so I don't expect it to be for anyone...  I feel better then worse, then better then worse, with the peak of better being slightly higher and the depth of worse being not quite as bad.

As you are losing weight, you are having to digest / eliminate the toxins stored in the fat, so this is constantly taxing those systems.  Allow for this and continue to assist those systems as necessary to help them heal.

I also added alot more Yerba Mate.

Depending on how you handle caffeine (or related xanthines) this could be something that you may want to reduce.

Thank you ABJoe.. this really helps me to know that things are progressing as they should be.  I think I'm going to start some of the arthritis protocols recommended in the encylopedia to hopefully help out.

Thanks Lloyd.. glad you chimed in here.  I don't handle caffeine well at all.  As I reduce the tyrosine and other amino acids.. I will slowly add more yerba (which is a beneficial for me).  This may be the ticket.

And I looked at the dl phenylalanine dosage and it's not 500mg 3 times a day, it's only 375mg.  I'm going to slowly reduce that one first.  And I'm moving from 1000mg in the  morning to 750mg.  I'll do that for a couple of weeks and then go to 500mg... etc.

However I really don't think i can ever stop the tryptophen...

If you are getting headaches you are taking  too much tyrosine for what your body requires.  Cut back to the 250 that Amazone suggested and see it that helps.

I cannot, I repeat, cannot handle the effects of Yerba! Thankfully, SWAMI has it as a neutral for me now. But the effects of it on me are everything but "neutral!"   Wow!

I only drank a half cup and just about went through the ceiling!! 'Way too hyper for me!!   I have to be very careful with chocolate, too, or the same thing would happen.

As an O, I use for the membrosia egg yolk lecithin instead of soy lecithin.

How much uridine is good for 1 glass membrosia? Do you take uridine as powder or in capsules? Could you recommend a manufacturer? Or is it only personally prescribed by a health practitioner? Thank you.
