Too many vitamins don't appear to be a good thing, but they don't have a definitive reason why?

Just like folate supplementing "causes cancer" but not really. It causes latent cancer problems to be dealt with, and in the case of cancer can cause spread and growth. I believe that's how it works from what I read. The point being that it isn't bad for you, but the good response to health isn't always safe unless other things are in place.

The trick seems to be getting the right amount of things.

Sometimes we could use more and sometimes less. It is a complex system with many interactions. There is still too much we don't know.

The article mostly warns against antioxidant mega-dosing.

I'm curious about the Vitamin E, since Dr. D prescribes Quercetin, that is like it, but not Vitamin E.

If we look at the D'Adamo supplements, it is rare that they contain megadoses of anything.   He does use large doses of B-12.
