It appears to be another word for larch arabinogalactan.

Yes Stractan is a brand name for larch arabinogalactan. Stractan was used by Champion International Corporation.

I noticed it on Dr. James' book "Just an Ounce of Prevention..." for Ao's as an energy drink mix. I didn't know it as stractan.. only as larch.
