I am taking Dr D's Methyl B12 Supplement and it seems to be helping me with many things.

I have read a fair bit about it but have succeeded in confusing myself as to when it should be taken.

I have been taking it last thing before I go to bed. but I just read that some should take it first thing in the morning.

I'm also taking Cathechol which has it in it and Exacta - I only take one of each of them at the moment as I am taking a lot of other supps for other things.

An O generally takes it before bed. I do.

Check the http://www.dadamo.com/protocols/index.htm which will sometimes indicate that a supplement is best used at a certain time or other instructions.

If you take it an night and find you have trouble getting to sleep try it earlier in day.

I take it at night and I sleep without waking up once.  When I was taking it in the morning and not at night, was waking up at 4 am every day.  For me personally, B12 at night helps with circadian rhythm.

I take B12 after dinner which would be around 7 pm....And go to sleep between 10:30-11 pm

I also take melatonin before bed (9 mg) BUT what makes the difference is that even with the melatonin and no B12, I will wake up at 4 am feeling wide awake.  Taking B12 with dinner helps me sleep through till 7:30 am. which is the time I like to get up.

My recollection is that Dr. D says to take it an hour before bedtime at least for O's.
That's when I take it.

I have been experimenting taking it in the afternoon and about two hours before I go to bed. For some reason I don't do well taking B-12 without the other B vitamins. I was concerned about the B-2 energizing me too much before bedtime so that was the reason I tried taking the whole spectrum in the afternoon. However, it seems that taking them at least two hours before bedtime works all right for me, and I'm thankful to finally come up with a method of taking B-12 that doesn't create worse problems for me than I already had!
