Hello I am new to the Forum,
I am an O+ not sure of much else, base on preliminary info I think I am more of the Explorer Geno Type, but I haven't done fingerprints and secretor status yet. I ordered the Daily Essentials Exakta,ClearCal and the Proberry Caps. I have been very impressed I've only been taking them a few days, but I could feel the difference after the second dose in the first day.

I have 2 questions though. It says to take 2 capsules, twice a day. I was wondering if this means first thing in the morning and at lunch time, or if the doses should be further apart, like morning and night?

The second thing is the fishy taste of the Exakta, it is really fishy and I was wondering if the other multivitamins also have the same fishy taste, or if the specific, like the Polyvite for the Type O is different?

I have made great progress on the Type O diet and I love all the info here.

Thanks,
Rex

Welcome!

Glad to see you are feeling the positive difference.

I usually take "twice a day" to mean approximately 10 - 12 hours apart within the day.

Thanks ABJoe, I was just concerned because I seemed to get such an energy rush from taking the second set that it might keep me awake if I take it later in the day.

The other situation is that I wanted to start my son on some of these supplements, but he is allergic to fish, so the fishy taste in the Multi-vitamins was my main concern.

thanks,
Rex

Rex, the Polyvite O does not have fish oil in it (I'm almost positive)    Check on the multi for his blood type and make sure.

If the fish oil bothers you, take it before your meal so the food quickly moves it on down into your digestive tract.

Some things keep me awake if I take them in the evening.  In that case, I'd divide my dose between breakfast and lunch.  Or if they are meant to be taken on an empty stomach, do them before breakfast and after lunch.  Generally vitamins and minerals are taken with food and herbs can be taken on an empty stomach unless otherwise specified.

Thanks Victoria for that reply.

I don't have an issue with the fish oil other than taste, I REALLY do not like a fish taste. I love the way these supplements work though, they are awesome. And thanks for the info on the Polyvite.

I have tried both ways so far. I took them once in the morning and the second set a little after lunch. When doing this I feel a lot of energy from the second dose and it seems to last way into the night. I also tried taking in the morning and at night, didn't feel the pop as much from the second dose at night, but it also didn't keep me awake.

Sounds like a choice between 'the pop' and sleep.
