I have been too busy in the farm, with lots of unplanned physical work: wresling goats, relocating gardens, seting up new chicken houses ...  and missing my yoga and exercise routine ... I often find pushing myself twisting my body in funny ways, like the other day while rescuing baby chicks from underneath these wooden structures, I saved the little chicks, but when I stood up, I knew my back was out!! it was ouch, ouch then for the rest of the day with every step and I could feel the bulge on my lower back ... I had twisted something out of alignment and it was sore ...

Years of learning in these forums gave me insight on what to try to help reduce the inflamation and the stress impose in the body because of it.

This was my procedure:

First of all I called my chiro for urgent visit, but could not see me until late next day, so I was left to my own devises until then.
=
So I reached for my BT supps cabinet and started the following regime:

1.= Bromelain away from meals 3 times a day (Reduces inflamation)
2.= Cortiguard twice daily (assis body manage stress)
3.= Connectivar (to assist the blood vesel repair and nourish ligaments)
4.= Phloxicyn (take care of joints and ligaments)
5.- Tranquility Base (Help body and mind to relax)
6.- Fish oil (that omega 3 lubricating fuel)
7.- Phytocal (to ensure Calcium assimilation with right mineral combo)
8.- stayed compliant, drank lots of water and green tea
9.= Applied a bit of ice to affected area
10.- Performed gentle relaxation and stretching exercises for the back

I went to bed that night still feeling sore, it was painful to sit and get up, but I managed to quickly fall asleep and when I woke up in the morning I was completely OK!!!  WOW! I could not believe it myself!  I had been in similar position in the past before and those kind of pains do not disappeared overnight! certainly not without external manipulation!!

I was able to go to the chiro by myself and get my back adjusted ... she could notice a bit of inflamation still and could not believe that I had recovered so quickly!

I am very thankful for the knowledge shared in these forums and the tools Dr D is given to us to allow us to take necessary actions to help ourselves out of trouble situations like these ...

Glad to hear of your success with your back.  I've been in a similar situation at times, so I'm happy that things cleared up so quickly for you.

I just love to hear about this kind of MaGiC! Thankfully, I have experienced it myself!

That's great news Cristina....glad you found relief!

I cannot take bromelain on an empty stomach.  Gives me severe gastric reflux....with food it's fine...

Bromelain with food has a digestive aid effect ... for its anti-inflamatory actions it is best taken away from food ... luckily it worked fine for me ...

I only had this for 24 hours, but I should continue this protocol for a few more days ... just to make sure since I am still so busy out here ... busy, but loving it ...
