Can men take the Genoma EQ? my husband has a yeast issue and gets frequent jock itch issues. He has recently given ME a yest infection. I haven't had one in 20 (or more!) years. The Genoma EQ is marketed as a women's product but is there any reason men can't take it? or would the polyflora be better for him?

Men can benefit from taking Genoma EQ.

It contains two ingredients that are often recommended to men to prevent prostate enlargement problems: Nettle root & Saw Palmetto Berry

The other two ingredients Quercetin and Chamomile are fine for men to take

The important ingredient for dealing with the yeast is the nettle root.

He may want to consider taking other items in the yeast fungal protocol as well.

the jock itch can be fixed fairly easily by eating less starch carbs, sugar, wheat etc.

genoma eq is good for many things but i think it fights candida so good for both.

The protocols are written so that the first item listed is the best choice for the issue. It is not necessary to take all items at once. If the first item in the list is not available, or doesn't seem to work, try the next one, and so on...Dr. D says it much more eloquently, but I'm being lazy in finding his quote...

cut down on starch and carbs, assuming you have stopped eating sweets and fizzy drinks etc already.

for the most part yes, we don't really consume sugary things and carbs are low and compliant.
