I bought my first bottle of A-recommended Glutathione about 15 days ago, in a brain-fatigued state of mind. I just wanted to make sure those brain cells were getting attended to, in some new, suggested way. It's been embarassing at age 47 to see cortisol screwing up my memory out in public (but I look back and realise as soon as this sets in - just quit imagining/feeling you have become a by-product of the "frustrating person" you've gotten sucked into, and love yourself, and tell yourself the "real you" is worthy to emerge from the fray - in perhaps 15 minutes?) Push the negative obsession away...keep poking it till it leaves..... So I'm quite pleased to announce (especially for B's, but A's too) that I paired the Glutathione with something called "GABA Soothe" with very nice results! I think Soothe offers the best of both worlds to B's and A's: GABA, theanine, and Ashwaganda. Please file this under the "Who Needs Excess Cortisol, Anyway?" category. With this and "Deep-Blue-ing" on my SWAMI...I've definitely inched ahead this month in emotional health. It has also had an unexpected benefit by way of "female reproductive health", as of today. Wow! It's good when you know your pituitary gland is doing a little better than 30 days ago..... Go, Team GABA! |

Glad you found a combination that works for you.
It was recommended to me to take GABA 500mg which I bought by Solgar. Have been taking them along with my other supplements in the AM.
I did a search on foods that contain glutathione and I feel, right now, at least that I'm getting enough.
While shopping at WF today I bought the GABA Soothe by Jarrow (it was on sale which is nice) because the combination of GABA, theanine, and Ashgawanda is a good one.
So, I'm giving this formula of GABA a try.
Thanks for posting the info. I hope it continues to work well for you.

I take Kavinace. They have one for daytime and one that has melatonin for sleep. I take them both as needed. |

I understand why you can't take GABA soothe. But could you just take 100% GABA by Solgar. That's what I was taking.

No - there is no GABA in it. It helps support GABA. Here are the ingredients: Vitamin B6 - 2 mg Proprietary Blend of Taurine and 4-amino-3-phenylbutyric acid - 950 mg http://www.kavinace.com/ |
