Have experience with it, but not as a supplement. Use it as a natural control measure against crawling insects along baseboards and such, as I've found it to be a good desiccant for these pests.

Has anyone tried the food grade before?

I've never used it but I believe you have be be very careful not to inhale it as it is deadly for you lungs.

I hope this thread picks up!! Recently I have learned that I am probably calcium deficient. It fits all my issues. (Celiac, severe menses, etc) I had some food grade DE I purchased last year but never got around to using it. Anyways, been using it a few days now. Huge energy increase! It actually gave me insomnia the first 2 nights so I lowered the dose to a teaspoon. (It was over a tablespoon.) Another note to take is, my nails are already stronger and I have cuticles! In the past, my cuticles were invisible. Back before the BTD, my cuticles would separate from the nail bed and bleed. It is supposed to help calcium absorption and help strengthen bones. I have arthritis damage in my lower spine and bone pain in my lower legs. They don't bother me like they used to and I want to keep the recovery going! Oh, and more fiber like solid bowel movements.
Does anyone think it is a concern eating those microscopic crystals? Could they get lodged anywhere inside the body? Nettle tea is disgusting. I am open to other sources and would like to see more feedback on DE.

I do believe the DE killed a worm. I had tremendous energy a few days before I passed what looked like a 1 inch or more piece of cooked rice spaghetti, perfectly intact. I have plenty of amylase in my enzymes and had not eaten rice pasta in a long while and the thing looked super smooth. I didn't care to examine it further, I kind of feel like it was a worm of some kind.
