1t baking soda in 8 oz water, per Mark Sircus, Ac., OMD is recommended as a cancer preventative. I do not see sodium bicarbonate on my list of BTD foods. I'd appreciate your thoughts here. |

Baking soda is highly alkalizing.
The question is do you need to become more alkalized?
Unless you're dealing with some extreme digestive problem that would require your body become more alkaline, if it were me, I wouldn't want to upset the ecosystem of my digestive tract unnecessarily. I'm not sure you'd benefit from a protocol not designed for you to take.
As far as baking soda in water being a cancer preventative, I can't validate that statement to be true.
We are so all complex in our own ways, which is why SWAMI is a highly individualized diet taking all of the illnesses and conditions of our ancestors into consideration. Highly beneficial foods have been designed to address our individuality. So have genoharmonic food combinations.
If it were me, I wouldn't try to go too far out of the box and do protocols not deemed necessary set by the guidelines of SWAMI. You could assume something not listed for you is neutral... but if you're going to take baking soda in water every day, then it might not be in your best interest. Only you can decide how much information not designed for you personally is relevant.

Baking soda is GenoHarmonic for me.
I don't like the taste, though! |

I'd be concerned about neutralizing my stomach acids too much and creating another set of problems. I feel pretty sure that your SWAMI diet is going to be alkalizing. If it needs a little tweaking to move it more in that direction, that makes more sense to me. Cheers, Rex! |

For some reason, this is just so funny! And surprising! But why are we still surprised by Dr. D.'s insight? I don't mind the taste of soda at all, but I would be VERY surprised to see soda in my GenoHarmonic list, and, of course, it isn't! |
