I haven't been able to find an answer elsewhere, so here goes.
I have some lingering hemorrhoid issues (mostly the itching) that are left over from probably detoxing during my first 2 months of being on the BTD.
Recently I purchased, but have not yet opened, Butcher's Broom and Horse Chestnut, both in capsules. My question is, do I need both of these, or will one of them be enough? Also, when is the best time of day to take them, and should they be with or without food and/or other supplements?
According to the Encyclopedia, the protocols most likely to help a Type O with hemorroids are: Intestinal Health, Liver Support, Detoxification, and Surgical Recovery...
I highly recommend Dr. D's formula called Collinsonia, which shrinks puffy sinus tissue. Dr. D says that sinus puffiness is like hemorrhoids of the head and the effect is similar. I have noticed that it works well on both counts.

Victoria, Good advice. I have been taking Collinsonia for about 3 years due to my sinus issues..never thought of them as 'hemorrhoids' in my head but it makes sense. I suffer from polyps in my upper nose. When I saw the few my ENT removed in his office ( as opposed to the several he removed surgically/under anesthesia in all of my other sinus cavities) they looked like tiny droopy grapes.
