Hello to everybody here on BTD forum!

Let me briefly introduce myself, my name is Greg, I'm from Slovenia and I am 35 years old. In my spare time I love to play tennis, I like jogging and working out in the gym, in general I like to exercise 3-4 days a week.
I read Dr.D’Adamo’s book Eat Right 4 Your Type about a month ago and based on that book I try to avoid food and supplements from the avoid list for my blood type ( A neg.). But I’m having hard time replacing my exercise habits with yoga and meditations. I’d still like to work out few days a week. So my first question for you would be is it really necessary for me to change my exercise habits according to my blood type?
Before I came across BTD I was regularly taking whey proteins mixed with maltodextrin and BCAA. Now I try to consume more soy proteins, so I changed from whey protein supplement to soy proteins. My next question, based on BTD, am I allowed to have maltodextrin, BCAA in my diet?
I year ago I also started to take supplement for my knee problems. Every day I take 2 capsules of joint supplement, one capsule contains:
Glucosamine Sulfate (700mg)
Glucosamine (420mg)
Chondroitin Sulfate (70mg)
Chondroitin (56mg).
Again, my question regarding my blood type is it ok for me to take this joint supplement or should I replace it with some more blood-type-friendly supplement?
In the future I’ll try to adjust my diet also based on GenoType, I ordered The Genotype Diet book and can’t wait to get to know more about the diet, based on what I’ve read so far I can exclude Gatherer, Nomad and Hunter as they are not typical for blood type A, or am I wrong?
Any replies and answers to my questions will be highly appreciated,

G.

Greg,
If you feel good with the exercise you are doing, it may be right for you.  Some Type A people fall into the Explorer Genotype and need a bit more strenuous exercise...

For the supplement - since I don't know what type knee issues you are encountering, my recommendation is to look at the Protocol list and determine which fit your situation and look at those for proper supplement usage:
http://www.dadamo.com/protocols/index.htm

You are correct with your Genotype choices: Type A can be Teacher, Warrior, and Explorer.  The best diet is SWAMI - takes more personal input, provides very specific to you diet information.

Thx for the reply
I'll read more in the Genotype Diet book when I get it, but based on what I've read so far on GTD I really could fall more into Explorer. Later on I plan to do the Swami but for now I'll 'calculate' my genotype based on the book I ordered.
As far as my knees go, I have worn out cartilage in the knee joints, that's why I'm taking dietary supplement for my joints.
When I read Eat Right 4 Your Type book the first question that came on my mind was are all the supplements that I'm taking 'compatible' with my blood type, that's why all the questions
