Just got my blood work. Thank God and the blood type diet, my cholesterol is dropping. Everything else looks good except my MCV and MCH are high; 101 and 34.7 respectfully. Reading on the web it suggests vitamin B12. I'm a type A- Teacher genotype. What would you suggest? |

If you need to supplement B12, use the Methyl 12 Plus. It is the most bio-available I know of. http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP008 |

If the HCT and HGB values are good, the MCV and the MCH is nothing to worry about. If the HCT and HGB values are low, then you need to pay attention to it. |

Good to know! The levels for both appear to be in range. Thanks for your help! |

The B12 might still be in order though. |

I do not know your gender, but if you are female and on the pill then your need for B12 and folate increases. B12 can mask a folate deficiency and vice versa. |
