Today was day #6 on TC.  What I'm noticing is a feeling of more strength in my body...maybe its increased stamina, but also mentally, I feel a lot of determination to get daily exercise.  I'm sleeping very deeply for 8-9 hours, but I was sleeping deeply prior to taking TC.  i also take 9 mg of melatonin before bed and wake right up without feeling groggy, so I know it's not too high a dose.  I used to
wake up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall back asleep.  That never happens now.

Is the dose supposed to be divided? (I should have read the container for info).  Just taking 1/2 tsp
of each so far (ARA6 + TC) and don't know if I need more or want to risk taking too much too soon.
For now, this feels like the correct dose.

Anyone ever do muscle testing to see if a supplement or food is good for your body or not?  When I
muscle test the two containers, I become incredibly strong....Individually, I'm not very strong on
ARA 6 but when I hold both containers together or test my glass already filled with both formulas
plus lemon juice, I am SO strong it's ridiculous.  The body always knows what it wants and needs.
Trusting myself!

As for buying trehalose separately.  I have a container from Swanson's....I use it to splash on my
face after I wash it....(add water to 1/2 tsp of T and let it dry on my skin).  I've tasted a bit of it....just to see what it tastes like but I haven't used it instead of TC as a supplement.

Someone said they bought plain Trehalose..... Can you please report on what it does for you???? is it different from TC?? how ???

It is different from Trehalose complex, becuase it does not have D-ribose and Modified Citrus Pectin. These ingredients drive up the cost and change the chemical/nutrional profile.  Making Trehalose Complex suitable for a supplement, but too expensive to use as an ingredient in recipes.

Using pure trehalose may work well for some people, but I am better off using dates for sweetening recipes.

Cooking with pure trehalose is easy and does allow you to make foods that some alternative sweeteners do not work in.

as for energy.. we need quite a bit of energy to sleep .. A harried body can  not sleep, can not rest enough to breath, digest, and release.  All that takes energy.

This is a good point, Goldie and I agree.

What we sometimes think of as substances to increase energy are actually stimulants which draw energy from our adrenals to allow us to push beyond our limits.  This type of thing ultimately lowers our energy stores and depletes us more and more.

True energy (vitality) not only enables hard work and play, but also the ability to let go and rest deeply.

I never use sugar at all... I read that the insides of the stomach turns beetread like raw meat.. so I gave it up 40 years ago. ---  I only eat sugary- in prepared- foods when cheating..

But I would maybe look to use it in other then lemonjuice, in icetea.. or for fruit icecream substitute.. like Italian ices made with real mango... or so.. Might sweeten up the liquids enough to drink more of it..

Hi Everyone-

A positive note for this sugar complex from me too.
It is really a great product. I knew it since the description of Dr.D'Adamo.
I was careful the first time. I only took half teaspoon in warm water and lemon and followed all of the directions, for some products there is to be prudent.
I didn' t notice much at that time, but this last time with one level tsp, I did, and I could feel the sensation of wellness and energy since soon after taken, and so it has been for me with many other BTD products; I feel safe and secure only with the BTD products.

I have 2 cups of hot water with lemon first thing every morning.  I add my Trehalose complex to the last few mouthfuls.  Then breakfast is usually about 30 minutes after that.

How long have you been doing this?  What have you noticed?  More energy?

How much trehalose?

I take it first thing in the morning stirred in lemon water, and with the same glass I take Polyflora and Live Cell.

Then I wait 1 hour before I drink green tea and take additional antioxidants.

I was 'depressed' all my life.. blue like..never knew it...

after the Trehalose I no longer feel that way..

I take it when I feel like a lift.. any time when I need energy.!.. but not after 3pm or I get to much energy..

I treat it like sugar in whatever..

just never combined with Quercetin..

THere NOw is a NEw Membrosia Complex made with Trehalose as the sugar  with Lecitin,Ribose, Uridine, l- glutamine.. ... ask about it.. to help the body to maintain Proper Metabolic activity.

Goldie, do you take the Trehalose complex from DPN?  Or plain trehalose?

What do you think is total total amount of trehalose you're using per day?

Since 7 May 2012. I take 1 level teaspoon in the morning. I shared some experiences here in this thread, and so did other members. It was Spring who opened the thread, and the title she gave speaks for itself. Would you like to browse? you'll find a lot of interesting sharings.

The quercetin issue was discussed in this thread in length. Personally I guess that by 1 hour away from quercetin Dr. D meant quercetin as a supplement, not within foods. The idea is to let the Trehalose Complex do its work for a while without interruption of other antioxidants. For my condition, I regularly take medicinal mushrooms half an hour before meal. These too are strong antioxidants and rich in quercetin. My personal solution then is to take TC first thing in the morning (post #984 above), then wait 1 hour before taking the medicinal mushrooms, green tea & Glycoscia, then wait 1/2 an hour before breakfast. There are lots of morning chores, incl reading in this forum & in FB, playing Lumosity - time flies

I have long converted to taking Dr D's sups only.. I save a lot of money not falling for every other thing in the emails I get or going to healthfood stores..

I have given up all sugar pooring from a sugar bowl over 40 years ago... so I have no need for sugar / I eat sweet foods instead, when I cheat.. I do not bake and I do not cook with sugar... Yet I would some day (for kids deffiniltly) buy  plain Threhalose in place of sugar  for a self test for its value after I can  think of any reason to use it.

Having said that:  I really like TC because it is so 'sure' to work as a cheer me up, and giving me endless enery.

... I received email today talking about the reasons why we may be experiencing what we do, feel bad, lethargic, sick and getting fat.... It may well be RIGHT on in its educational efforts for people that have never really been able to learn what we learned here...

In this instance: I do believe the email, but my response is that: I will use TC for THE detoxing reccomended elsewhere.  cheaper and I feel secure.

I can not separate out from what Dr D said is most important.. THe D- Ribose or the Threhalose.. I do not know If the Trehalose is only a sweet /sugar replacement, GooD for diabetics, and on easy thing to get the Ribose delivered in a sweet way.  But I am certain that the T Complex interaction is most deffinitly adventageous.

Cloe, I take it on days when I think of it.. ( I get lazy after a while) but by taking it intermittently I feel the effect Double!  I received the Membrosia Complex from Dr D's clinic and so I am now taking both together.. about the same heaped tea spoon as before.  It energizes me ALL day.  when I run out of one or the other, TC or MC, I will ask the clinic which to take, why and how much...

...and I take it in the am only unless I wish to stay awake longer into the evening. (ha I can go to sleep with the chickens.. but I also wake up way to often haha bhoo hoo.)  I have been drinking 1/4 spoon of coffee for my headaches( daily for 6 hours) ... I don't know yet which is better, the small amount of caffeine or the painkillers... some day I will ask...

santina: Thanks for the link above.. its a good read... it might even answer some questions I listed above..

This thread (started by Spring) shows on the first few pages all that is needed to teach one self.  It is the best explanation until you jump and get TC for energy and brain cleansing or MC sent to you and you take it.  MC is to balance fluids within..

why am I so long winded when it comes to something I am fond of?/  sorry ..

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a single Warrior on this site that loves this product.  If so, I'd like to know how long they've been taking it, and why they enjoy taking it.  My genotype is the type that needs to relax, and this product does the opposite to me.

Adam... I found some here on the first page odf the thread:  Andrea AWsec maybe she will come here or she is elsewhere why not ask her..  She also could ask Dr D at the clinic about it...

These all might be able to shed more light..  all from the first two pages here..

Now for me I might try to take it anyway if it is indicated that it is OK.. and I would expect that in a week at the most you would see changes that MIGHT allow you to relax naturally.  after a mayor detox.. Just wondering.. no idea if I am right..

I might buy Mushrrom derived Trehalose alone --- without the D-Ribose. That then would afford you the cleansing - as I understand it, but not the energy we others get from the Ribose..

Could to much energy be a sign of toxicity?

Well, it's not recommended by my SWAMI, so I think I'll pass.  I tried it twice and, although at first I was kinda wowed by it, eventually I just didn't feel right on it.  I tends to "key up" my system a bit more than I like.

Adam, I honestly feel as though I couldn't bear to live without it     It seems to hone my A side in a way that I crave, as I tend to get quite anxious if not feeling sharp and able. On the other hand, my B side moderates things quite nicely-- I can relax nearly to the point of an opiate induced dream state almost at will. It wasn't always like this though. Now I feel more balanced... one part of my brain processing a complex problem, another part thinking "hey, that cloud looks just like duck..."
