Spring, you must have a Vitamix or Blendtec.  When I've tried to blend up raw vegetables, it's been an utter failure.  The carrots and kale, etc. just end up too unblended for my tastes.  I like a drink to be smooth.

How do you make it work?

I don't have a Vitamix or Blendtec, but this thirty-five year old Sunbeam Deluxe blender does the job in no time!! It really is powerful!! But I do have to put enough water in to get everything going and, also, to make it drinkable. I cut the carrots, cucumbers and celery into one-half inch sections. The lettuce I just break up in pieces. I make one large glassful at a time which is about what I would consider a large salad.

Nobody likes a good salad any better than I do, but sometimes I just want something to drink between meals or something to soothe my esophagus and/or stomach. I can have problems if I do any heavy lifting or even breathe something toxic. But this has worked over and over again! Really gives me a nice lift too!

I am getting more and more amazed at the research that has been going on about Trehalose for years, and if it had not been for Dr. D. and HIS research most of us would never have heard a single word about it. Not any time soon anyway. Let alone the wonderful benefits from taking it as a complex! I told another friend about it this week, and she was scribbling as I talked because she wanted to try it.

Just got another one....This just pleases me no end to get these e-mails from people wanting more Trehalose Complex!   The reason being that they are feeling better and stronger!!! I am so very happy to share something this wonderful with people that I know have had a very hard road behind them healthwise! I think it does almost as much for me as TC has done!! Not quite, but it really gets close!

In Ireland nearly all trehalose products are Treha™ (Cargill's brand of Trehalose) whether the packets say Treha™ or not. This is because EU regulations grants Cargill pretty much exclusive rights to the market (at least that is the way it appears to me). It is regulated as a "novel food ingredient."

Treha™ is made from corn starch.

Found a UK supplier... this is what he e-mailed me to my questions:

- what is the source of the Trehalose?
- how pure is it?
- if it is derived from corn/ maize is this sourse GMO free?
- do you post to Eire? Costs?

Hi yvonne thanks for you great questions. Trehalose is made from either corn or tapioca starch. It is certified free from GMO ingredients and also BSE. We ship to Ireland and charge the postal costs. Royal mail costs

- Is it possible to buy the Tapioca Trehalose separately as I have digestive issues with corn...
- If not, how pure is the Corn one?

Hi Yvonne - the end product is exactly the same - why don't i send you a small sample - say 100gm so you can try it. The source of the starch to make the product appears to have changed over time - sometimes they have used corn and sometimes tapioca.
Paul

This is what his website is saying about the manufacture of their Trehalose:
http://www.trehalose.co.uk/trehalose-news/trehalose-science/trehalose-introduction

He did send me the sample- arrived today.

So what do you all think?

How will I know if I react 'badly' to the Trehalose if it wasn't pure enough?
I generally get away with 'sins' so I am not a good 'control' person

As more cells get more healthy, illness will be driven out, so less mis-folded proteins will be made.  Ultimately, there will be a lower mis-folded protein load to clean-up as a maintenance task.

I have definitely found this to be true for myself! Even my supplements seemed to have awakened from a long sleep!!! As of today I am 70 years old, and I feel better than I did at forty!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I've finished my first container of Trehalose Complex.  I think it's helping, though I couldn't say there's any Wow factor for me.  I started with low doses, as I found it gave me a headache when I took the full dose at first.  Everyone's comments helped me see that I could start with lower doses and work my way up.  I've built up to a full tsp. first thing in the morning when I either head to Curves or hop in the infrared sauna.  I find myself sweating more in both cases.  I sure drink alot more at Curves too.  I think it has helped curb my appetite somewhat, and I think it also broke the weight loss plateau I've been on.  I'm also taking 1/2 - 3/4 tsp. at bedtime.  It doesn't bother my sleep at all.  I usually add ARA6 each time I take it too.
I'm into my second container and I have 2 more containers in the pantry.  Things never seem to work fast on me, but I do intend to work my way through all my containers and see how things go.

Trehalose seems to be either bulking my muscles or reducing my fat.  I believe that I am going down the hill that I was slowly climbing the past year.

My weight loss goal: 220 lbs.  A 6'4" dyslexic oddball: the size of a line-backer, the silhouette of Winnie-the-Pooh.

BCgal, I never expected Trehalose Complex to cause any noticeable effects, either, at first, because I was just going by results from other supplements I have taken in the past. But it was like I got hit with something that was like what I had hoped for from all the supplements put together that I had ever taken in the past!! And I am STILL marveling at this ride!! Some days I need more, and some days I need less.

And I am like you about the sweating. When I work outside in the evenings or early mornings, I pour sweat. It gives me the most wonderful, exhilarating feeling! And I feel so clean even though sometimes I am caked with dirt!!

I am happy that you are seeing results in different ways! I am expecting another grandchild in a few weeks, and that gives me another reason to want to get into good shape!!

Spring, is the new grandchild going to be where you live or in another part of the country?   My three are just over 3 hours north of us, which isn't too bad but I do wish we were in the same town.  They're coming down for a week this Monday.  I know what you mean about being in shape to keep up with them.
Hope all goes well with the delivery.

How many containers of Trehalose Complex have you used so far?

No, they don't live here, but it is an easy three hour trip. We do miss them here since they moved away, but it has worked out really well for them, so I can't complain. She will have to have another C-section that went fine before, so we are hoping for the best. And thanks for your good wishes!

I have taken close to two containers of TC. Just wish I had gotten started on it earlier. But it has worked such wonders so far, that I can't really complain about that either. Something I have found that works well for me is if I get a tiny bit jittery from taking a little too much, I pour a very small amount out of a capsule of Holy Basil and take it. Calms me down right away, but I still have plenty of energy. I really like that combination, but I don't have to use it very often.

I know you are so looking forward to having a whole week with your grandchildren! Hope you have a wonderful time, and don't forget the TC! And a little Holy Basil if you have it. Or maybe you have the tea which would be great too.

Paul, do you mean that you are gaining weight?

Paul, do you mean that you are gaining weight?
I was gaining slowly for moths, but the trehalose seems to be reversing that in general.  People who had not seen me for the first few weeks of consuming trehalose asked me if I had lost weight.  I looked in the mirror, and it did seem less padded and more chisled.  I typically loose weight first in my face and hands.

I had not really lost weight at that time, but now, about a month later with weight is comming down gradually - without much compliance.  I hope to get compliant, and sweat a weight out this summer.

Interestingly I have had some moments when my mental focus, which can vary during the day from poor eating, seemed to be abnormally sharp and controled.  I got a lot of very concentrated work done - it seemed to take no effort at all and time appeared to slow down as I was going fast.

Well, great! Scared me there for a minute. Your words sound so familiar in this latest post. I usually keep track of my weight, but the other day I put on a skirt that usually fits, and the waist was very noticeably loose. I thought I had lost some more weight, but when I weighed I hadn't, which was all right with me because I love losing inches, especially in the right places!! And I know what you mean about getting things done so much more effortlessly! The same thing has been happening to me!

Thank you, Dianne! My daughter-in-law (don't like that word! I love my "daughters!") and I had a long planning session last night about when everyone is going to do what when the baby comes! His little brother is so excited! He patted his mother on the tummy the other night before he went to sleep and said very softly, "Hellooo in there!"

I juice all vegetables in my Breville juicer. The green juice may be later blended with other ingredients.
