can't this all also be done by beta-glucans Often people say it's all about sugars- next says all about aminoacids... so ..... I think both variants are helpful but can't be claimed as *the solution of going against all kinds of diseases*... there still stays the question of the so called *electron-donors*..we need this also to create the needed energies in our bodies...and for cell reproductions as well.....and sometimes I'm asking myselve if the placebo effect isnt' be seen all overthere and our mental forces are always underestimated for selfhealing processes ... p.s. forgot to mention that I think this is also the value given to so called:intentions... where's an intention..there's an expectancy... and both are forms of energy... proof here is: *the intention experiment* of Lynne Mc.Taggart (author of THE FIELD).... |

I'm just to the point of scratching my head wondering what will turn up next that TC has helped!
Since Trehalose Complex makes the internal process of cells more efficient, due to the cleaning out of misfolded proteins, any cell that is aided will make whatever its function is run smoother... Any bodily function may be affected. |

Dr. D gave a fabulous lecture on autophagy which I listened to a few weeks ago on this site.. He went into great detail which was WAY complicated to my non scientific mind.. I somehow misplaced the link. I think it would be helpful for Goldie to listen to. Lola....do you know the lecture I'm referring to....IF so, can you please post that link |

I had no "expectancy" whatsoever about Trehalose Complex any more than I have done about any supplement I've taken in my life. What I do know is that Dr. D. has proven himself and his work over and over again, and I don't think he has deliberately pumped up some sort of "expectancy" about TC! I actually didn't have a clue about what TC would do for me personally because I certainly had no clue where any problems were. How could anyone? We know outward signs, of course, of some things, but there are many, many more that will only reveal themselves more and more as time goes on. How about this? Put some plain Trehalose on a plant and see what happens! They certainly don't have any preconceived notions about anything! And how about this? Has anyone noticed people who take supplements and profess no benefits whatsoever from them, but when you start asking questions about different health problems that you know have disappeared and remind them, they exclaim, "Oh, yes, I don't have those problems anymore!" I suppose they just vanished into thin air! Right! |

I know ABJoe, but just "wondering what will turn up next!" Makes me shiver almost!! The UPS guy just delivered a package right to my kitchen for me and he said, "It sure does smell good in here! What are you cooking!" I told him it was just lunch but didn't add that it was right out of the personalized SWAMI diet! How can we possibly complain about our diets when it tastes so good and makes us feel wonderful!!! |

Going back to your first post, I don't think I've heard anyone say that something was all about amino acids or all about sugars who had any understanding of the human body. That is a pretty broad brush....... Were you wondering if it could/should be all about being "done by beta-glucans?" If we stopped eating and depended on Trehalose Complex to solve all our health problems we would be classed pretty dimwitted in my opinion! Trehalose Complex is simply one of a great many aspects of our journey toward a state of well-being. The advancement of the "placebo effect" is practiced all around us all the time. Many Doctors DEPEND on it because they don't have anything else to offer. They would be out of business in no time without it. Some poor souls actually get a "placebo effect" from hearing the soothing voice of one of these "doctors." Please, just give me a break!!! Gritting my teeth!!! |

I think yesterday I just didn't get enough food for lunch, so by afternoon, I was pretty hungry and exhausted. So, today, I got a healthy lunch of cod, greens, and rice. Took about 1/4 tsp each of TC and ARA6, so right now, I feel just a little bit of that energy which is just right. When I get home, I'm going to try some more and then go work out. |

If I remember it well all was meant in correlation with the approach to certain cancer therapies... no more- but also no less .... sorry it was my fault in not being precise at this point.... |

See?! I already said TC is demanding that I eat a big lunch and a very small dinner! I am miserable now if I eat very much in the evening. I've never been this way before throughout my entire life! I do love this way of eating!! |

No problem, Amazone! I think most of the time we are more imprecise on the forum than we are precise! We're just humans working at finding the best path to take for our health! Sometimes the stark preciseness of Dr. D.'s comments leave us wondering, "WWWWWhat did he say?" |

C-sharp and Cloe.. Thanks for the links IN THE OTHER thread.. no longer there..
I will research all the posts here to find the links.. Will I be told about 'serious' illness questions and will the instructions be made clear on dosage for short and long term use? I will listen.. and hope so ..
I know that it may be not be reasonable to EXPECT physical help (from TC) in either a short time or over several month for serious illness. Yet it becomes a question of advancing info about TC to others - rather then being afraid to mention it, because I lack backup info.
My question on dosage for TC for PML is an issue where the 50 year old is expected to be dead in less then 6 month.. on Alzheimer's, every day lost is important to the family.. For Autistic children 9 year old, any hope is better than none..same for Lyme patients.. Open sore wound care for a 42 year old cancer survivor is serious.. they all are.. Should they get TC for such serious issues and how much?

I am getting Alzheimer. NOW I am certain of it.. All day yesterday I struggled to find info on dosage for serious illness, only to realize THIS morning that I FORGOT all about all the links listed here..
If not Alzheimer's, then becoming plain stupid, unable to reproduce short term memory items..
THIS is scary.. this is the courage part I was talking about earlier. Yet: How to be courageous, when one might not remember what to be courageous about?
Dosage.. for normal and dosage for sick people? is it the same? |

There is no telling how much this is going to help your overall health, Yaeli!! Not getting enough sleep is so destructive. People pay out a lot of money to get help for such things as fear of darkness. I'm just to the point of scratching my head wondering what will turn up next that TC has helped!
Thanks Spring |

Goldie, I don't have any idea how much anyone should take of TC to address serious illnesses, but I know I have taken more than 2 teaspoons a day at times with no apparent problems. One thing for sure, I would be a whole lot more worried about what more than two teaspoons of ordinary sugar would do to me than that much TC!!! I remember when my sister just older than me and I were young teens making fudge and eating the whole batch while our mother was gone to the grocery!! We had this dumb thought that if we ate it all she wouldn't know what we had been up to - like she couldn't smell the stuff all over the house!! She never mentioned it though. Maybe she thought we were making hot chocolate! But just imagine eating nearly a cupful of sugar at one time!!! Thankfully, we didn't do that very often, and we always loaded it with nuts, so there was that, at least! It is a wonder that we weren't fat, but we never were. Oh, and by the way, I am still taking a rounded one-fourth teaspoon at night of TC and sleeping so much better!! |

Another thing, Goldie. Maybe you were just overly tired yesterday. Please don't panic simply because you more or less "mislaid" something. People do that all the time when they are tired. We've all seen exhausted people we wanted to tell, "Hey, you need to get to bed! Now!" |

I'm feeling exhausted but I know why. When I hurt my wrist last week I was in so much pain that I took quite a bit of Advil and now I'm having a flare up of ulcerative colitis. In addition to the bowel symptoms, it often makes me feel like I've got a fever, achy joints, etc. I did take an extra teaspoon of the TC yesterday and I took my normal amount this morning. This will pass but I'm paying for the pain meds I took last week. I can take a little of that stuff which I do sometimes when I play golf but every few hours for a couple of days did me in. The pain was so extreme that I needed something though. I also had my dental implant finally put in and my gums were sensitive from that too. I can't believe, one week later, how much better my wrist is. The power of healing from all the good things we've learned from Dr. D. |

Jane, Any further gum or mouth sensitivity try 100% pure therapeutic grade Wild Myrrh (here it is again http://www.AnandaApothecary.com. I just ordered more. The 12ml bottle lasts a long time because you can either swap it on a wet Qtip or use a few drops in water as a mouth rinse. Joy |

I wanted to post about TC ,also.
I'm just starting my second container and still taking a level spoonful once a day in the late morning or afternoon. I have always had a sweet tooth and indulged it. I know too much sugar.
Now here I am taking sugar in another form and it has decreased my craving for sweets other than the sweetness from fresh fruit.

Have you ever used creams and/or ointments on a painful spot like your wrist, Jane? That works really well for me. Also, the old standby Boswellia is amazing! Like I've said before, everything I use is working better now since I started taking Trehalose. I think it must have "fixed" something in my tongue and stomach, and the way I absorb things through the skin really fast!! |
