have you noticed anything about the skin on the backs of your hands?! Mine doesn't seem quite as fragile as it did.
I had noticed this from following SWAMI, prior to taking Trehalose Complex... |

Well, mine were getting worse until I started TC, although, I'm still blaming all that yogurt for setting me back. I had even gotten rid of all my white lines before that! SWAMI saved me from the yogurt and my hands from getting worse, but they hadn't started recovering until a week or so ago. And I am a lot older than you so that does make a difference! Besides I don't think anything is going to dampen my enthusiasm about TC - I've never seen anything like it! But there is no question that it is building on what has already been done through the diets and other supplements these past several years. |

Spring, I have some brown spots on the backs of my hands and I don't think they have faded yet, but the ones on my face are really going away. The skin on the backs of my hands is very smooth, though. In general, my skin condition is improving.
I'm still excited about the clarity of my mind and improved vision that I'm experiencing. Still at 1 tsp every morning. |

Interesting. Since taking Trehalose S., I have had a strange tickle-drilling sensation on the sole of my right foot. It lasts a couple of minutes, then fades out and stops. I talked with my M.D., who didn't have a clue what it signified. So, I'm just accepting it at this time as a process.
Thanks Victoria. After obstinate drilling for a week, it has almost completely stopped. This morning I felt a similar sensation in the forearm. It lasted one second. I also visited my GP on Wednesday, who couldn't say anything about it. |

I can't tolerate any form of citrus.. not even on my skin. It burns. Citrus gives me migraines, abnormal growths, acne like bumps all over my face..It's not a pretty sight.
You've maybe just reminded me of a similar conversation we had before about citric acid which I know triggers aura migraines. I've been taking trehalose with fresh grapefruit and had a few days off due to bladder??? pain which was not cystitis as such..... but I also have lots of face spots, which is unheard of!! OK definitely now ditch the fruit for a period and see if my skin improves....... thanks Mayflower. |

I'm adding a dash of pineapple juice to my trehalose drink instead of the addition of citrus juice. It doesn't attack me that way. |

I was so enthralled with the wonderful benefits you all are deriving from Trehalose that I ordered some. I worked gradually from the one teaspoon to the second teaspoon and finally had to give it all up. The outcome for me, unfortunately, is that the Trehalose affected my bowels, sometimes becoming very gaseous. i found that I didn't want to sleep and that, in fact, I was becoming very nervous. I wouldn't call it energy, just not a very good feeling inside of me. The worst thing is that it raised my blood pressure way up. I finally put the whole picture together and realized it was the Trehalose causing these effects.
Now that I have stopped, everything is back to normal. I'm really sorry to report this but I realize that one negative report will not affect all those for whom the Trehalose has given remarkable results. Just thought you might be interested. |

My guess would be that if you reduced the dosage down to about 1/2 teaspoon (or less) per day for a while to allow your body to go through the autophagy (cellular cleaning) process, that you would work through the waste that is causing the issues and return to a healthier state. The tip-off to me is the gaseousness... This is very typical when the body is removing hard-to-digest toxins. The key is to reduce the toxin removal to a tolerable level, rather than throw out the healing altogether. As stated earlier in the thread, I had to start slowly to control the negative effects of the healing process. |

Mine arrived very speedily thru the mail yesterday. I took a tiny dose this morning & didn't see any changes. I may try a little more tomorrow. Can I take it with plain water or other juices? I am looking forward to this great addition to my diet. |

If the TC has citrus then I might buy the plain trehalose.. I think it might work real well even just as a sugar substitute ..
the spots on my hands seem to fade.. but maybe I will get them back as soon as I go in the sun..
I use the little TC left in the glass and put it on my face.. and neck.. I have no idea what it might do, but it might make the skin clear up.. ?? ha ha
I had a headache today but still not every day as usually.. and seemingly I might have brought it on by watching a stressful movie and having some other stress over night.. I will know more tomorrow.. |

Goldie,
This was my train of thought for those who cannot tolerate any citrus in a supplement.
So far I'm having positive results from TC but I only take one teaspoon in the morning along with my ARA6. If I take another in the afternoon it tends to keep me awake. This is all so new and I'm excited about the changes that I might see on a physical level.
I'm sure you've done your "homework" as they say and know about Sweet T. It states it contains no other substances.
I'm just starting my second week with TC and my first week with ARA6 powder form.

Thankyou everyone, including the negative side effects and possible reasons for them. I bought plain trehalose so might go back to taking a very small amount, perhaps it wasn't all the fault of the grapefruit.... but for the time being I'll give that a rest and see what happens. |

I agree with all of the above. I have kept my dose at 1 tsp/day. For the first container, I had a lot of gas. Practically none any more. Cellular cleansing can be uncomfortable in various ways at times. Sometimes my sleep was restless in the beginning also - hard to let go. This also has passed and I'm sleeping very deeply. |

Thanks, Lola! I think I will start doing this for my second serving of the day of this wonderful supplement! Sometimes I am in a hurry and this would work great for me! As for the unusual feelings, etc., after taking the Trehalose Complex that some people are having, I think they have to remember that this is not just an every day, run of the mill supplement! I expected gas, loose stools, etc., anything of that sort that would only indicate to me that a major overhaul was taking place in my body. I was having to drink much more water than usual too. My blood pressure was never affected by it, but, then, many different things affect different peoples' BP from one day to the next. Starting off with as much as I did is not for the fainthearted!! But I was ready for noticeable results, and dived right in! I must say that every time I take it, I'm still amazed by the way it is affecting my body. Twenty minutes max and I feel like a different person! |

Okay, I have a little more time now so I will try to say a little more about the quick results I get after taking TC every morning. I don't know why it affects me so quickly, but I will take it first thing in the morning with about a half tablespoon or less of lemon juice and some water. I get busy with other things for a while before I get breakfast together. During that time, when I have forgotten all about taking TC, it is as if there is a very noticeable shift in my whole body, sort of like it is coming alive. This has happened over and over again. And it is like, "Hey, I feel great!!"
Now, I am not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination, ordinarily. Especially, when my previous day has been very tiring because of some project or other, and the past several days have been like that. So by last night, after the busiest day of all, I was one tired gal!!! But this morning, without fail, TC did whatever it is that it does, and I was able to do what I usually do on Sunday without a hitch!!
No, I don't just "happen" to be feeling so much better, my eyelid didn't just "happen" to be opening normally after not doing so for the many decades since my birth, it didn't just "happen" that I feel ten years younger already, it didn't just "happen" that my skin feels more like it did ten years ago, it didn't just "happen" that mental clarity has taken the place of that fuzzy fog, it didn't just "happen" that I have fatty tumors that are shrinking, it didn't just "happen" that my foot has healed so quickly, and the best part of all is that my body is making much better use of the food I eat and the supplements I take!!

This has been a very informative thread. I think I'll have to give it a try. I'm putting in an order for supplements tomorrow anyway, so I'll add it to my list.
I also take ARA6 regularly and it was mentioned that it helps with the benefits of the Trehalose Complex so I'm anxious to see what results I may get.
Someone also mentioned taking it and then getting in the sauna. I just got one recently, so will see what that does too. |

WOW.. FREE Beauty treatment: I mixed a pinch of TC and 3 drops of grapefruit juice left in the bottom of the glass after making my morning portion of one TC portion, I mixed/placed it all on my face and hands.. RESULTS 10 year face lift - leaves a Little stiffness and nice sheen too.
Another benefit : it most definitely makes me feel more put together and daring.. age reversing? ... ] would sugar do the same? ---jeah .. attract bugs to sting me??? |

This is probably the citrus pectin. It won't dissolve in water. For skin application, it may be better to get plain Trehalose. |

It is amazing how my skin feels and looks after applying it too. I feel so good sometimes it almost makes me feel guilty that we are using something that does this for us, and so many who need it a lot more than we do could benefit so tremendously, if only they knew! I feel indebted by this somehow, and I am trying to figure out how to apply this going forward..... |
