Sometimes I get an idea but do not put on paper or on the computer and then lose track  of it.  I may or may not remember until way later.  This way I can get my idea out there and hopefully help someone.

IMHO, I see a culture addicted to wheat, sugar, and things that might give them fuel in the short term, but probably do more damage in the long run.  I used to be one, so, I'm not judging.  I'm just really glad I learned how to eat better.  And I think my family is better off for it.  Because I'm the cook.  My kids eat stuff that most people totally turn their nose up at.  Even at our church, everything revolves around sugar parties.  Ice cream socials.  Dessert night.  Cakes at every oppportunity.  Candy at AWANA.  It really is irritating.

JJR, I was thrilled to see your comments above about how sugar is the focus of events for children. I totally agree! It was a red flag to me before I began my SWAMI journey recently, but now it just makes me angry. I get so frustrated having to limit my kids constantly when we're at school events, church events, AWANAS (we do that too), driving through the bank ("no thank you, we don't want any suckers") & even our tailor has a giant bowl full of candy. I know 100% that it's worth it & my husband & I explain the reasons why to them in a kind, loving way. But, it's still frustrating. I'll end my rant now!

Now, to get back onto the topic of this thread, I've taken Trehalose Complex from NAP for 2 days now & I haven't seen any changes. I'll update this thread if & when I do. I think it's sweet, but not super sweet. I didn't want to add it to my grapefruit because I love it sour with pink salt. I've been drinking my Trehalose mixed into a small amount of Simply Grapefruit juice.

  Ice cream socials.

Nobody would go to something called a salad social.

Think of what the invitation would look like:

BYOB: Bring Your Own Broccoli

You and your family are invited to a green social!  Lettuce provided.  Please bring toppings.  No store-bought dressings, please, out of respect for those who don't eat GMOs.  Vita Mixes provided as well for those of you who drink socially.

that since Trelahose is a double glucose molecule that it would be an ideal attraction for Lectins.  So that would mean it has one more benefit to improve your health.

I don't see the answer.. call me stupid .. I still would like to know... Can I therefore eat sugary things and get a way with it.. like more fruit sugar for instance in a whole banana or a second fruit / rice?,? That could change a big part of my life.. so far I only eat meat, green vegetables and 1 grapefruit.

No.  Regular glucose is easily metabolized by the body.  Trehalose is a double glucose molecule that has a bond that we humans can not easily break and metabolize.

Do not confuse regular sugar / glucose with Trelahose

This is my second day on Trehalose and I have had a horrible migraine both days. Coming up the back of neck  to middle of back of head all the way up and over to forehead. I'm guessing detox?

That's my thought as well...  Mine were whole head, spine, and even radiating out from the spine...  The pain has backed off some...
I had to back off of the recommended dose to be able to function somewhat, but am taking about a teaspoon per day now...

I have headaches almost like that every day without Trehalose TC..

Since I took TC I have less headaches. .. but can not yet say they went away.. That is for the near future.

I had a dull headache the first couple of days that reminded me just a tiny bit of the horrible ones I had when I was detoxing with Candidiasis. It soon went away, though. I was feeling so wonderful otherwise that I hardly noticed it! And, like Victoria, even the mental fog, that I was hardly even aware of having, lifted very quickly. It is a wonderful, wonderful feeling....... I slept and rested better last night than I have in years.

If you never get/or got headaches, would the detox affect show up in whatever other part of your body that normally gets affected...

We're all so different too.... I really wish I could describe the way I feel since I started taking Trehalose. I simply can't find the words. I know I have said a lot, but what I've said hardly scratches the surface...... I have had a few fleeting thoughts such as, "Can this possibly even last?" But it does. "Can it possibly get any better?" And it does...... WOW!

I have not looked at headaches as 'detox' rather for the need to make some sort of adjustment.

The absence of headaches to me is my aim, but I can not fault anything I am doing for getting them.  They just 'seem' near daily exercise in 'futility' to remind me how NICE LIFE IS when I don't have any pain.

I am 'feeling' as if TC is working toward my goal of (when ) the 'reminder' work is done   and the body can relax   enough to just let me be ..  I think (my body's nerve center) might, possibly, eventually, stumble, and find it's way, in that direction   seeing that I am doing something to help it along. .

I do see other areas where it might be working as well.  My neuropathy -the nerve endings- might be more receptive to self healing..  time will tell.  It might even be the reason to sleep a little better? less tossing and waking?

My tongue is most definitely CLEAR now! never saw it's skin before!  Brain fog, I experience a slight lessening of 'emotional' fear - might have more emotional courage????  It works on my eye balls more then on my eye sight - SO FAR..  I have a little dry skin on my arms I usually don't have.. is that a symptom?  MY fingernails that where breaking might be getting a litttttle stronger?  I 'think' my sinuses are clearer.. I am just not certain yet, but it is doing something!!!

You see, I just don't know YET.   But I am in favor of trying.  I will buy more of it and just replace it as 'my' personalized 'sweet' spot in life!.   I don't ask much of life or TC... just better this, that, and all else.... including radiant health    TC is indeed sweet medicine! I even like this thread.. it's life confirming.  I think my sinuses are clearer.. you see I am not certain yet, but it is doing something!!!

No doubt in my mind that it should be tried by all how suffered from taking pain and other pills, and or those who are weakened somehow from all the poisonous things we 'took' to deal with our lives..

Maybe you've written about this before, Goldie, but why are you eating so little fruit? I thought everyone needed more fruit than that.....

Have you noticed this personally, Lola? I wish you would post some of your experience on the other thread with this fabulous, new supplement! Are there any other substances that could serve as an all-around lectin "scrubber" on the cellular level for every type?

Trehalose, the way Dr. D. uses it, triggers internal cellular cleaning.

It is my understanding that lectins attach to the outside of the cell.  I don't know if Trehalose has the same "attachment" ability for lectins to grab onto to or not, but this is not the mechanism Dr. D. is recommending it for.

Well, to "clump," it seems the lectin would have to be on the outside of the cell.
