I use it in the garden, to kill soft body bugs, it's good for fleas, and we add it to the goat feed to kill intestinal gritters. I believe it's made from a shell and cuts their bodies up. Don't guess it would hurt you, but don't know what kind of minerals would be in it.
If I took it, it would not be to get off the hook. I have been doing the work and stayed compliant for two years and taking Dr. D's supps and have been going downhill this past 6 months, so when I came across this, I got excited.

It is a fossil flour...It is 80-90% silica. I've read that the soil is very low in silica now, so that the foods that we eat are deficient in it. We are getting only 1/3 of what we need, so that we are continually becoming more and more deficient. It is also a great detoxifier.

I don't think it would hurt you and if you've picked up parasites might do you some good. I'm sure you can find a place where you can get it for human consumption. (I don't know if that can be said of the garden diatomaceous earth we get from the feed store. Also a little goes a long way.
I could very well have parasites. I have lived in Korea for 13 years and I have traveled to foreign countries. This could just be one of the keys to my health not being vibrant....

OK what your asking about is food grade.I see no reason why you couldn't try and see if you felt better using it. What I use isn't food grade (although I'll take a look and see.) I use it in my garden. so the silica should go into my garden vegetables. Which is how I think I'd rather ingest it.

I had this happen to a friend, took sometime before any Doc. found what she'd gotten. So under your circumstances I would give it a try. It is something I might order to keep in my med. kit. Keep us informed. Best to you

DE or fossil shell flour can be bad if you take it at the wrong times. It does detox very well, I used it to help detox my dog who had heavy metals. Make sure you take it 2 hours before and after meals. Like at bedtime. I mixed it with water and a little honey to get it down my old boys mouth! It will pull metals and toxins out, including good minerals. This is why you take it by its self. I have tried to use it on my live stock for a wormer, and did not have much success. I have read many studies on herds of livestock given DE and it did nothing to their parasite load. They were tested before during and after the test. Many people mix DE with grain or other supplements when an animal is sick. This is the worst thing you could do, because it is removing all the mineral that the sick body needs.
If you want a 10 day wormer, try Oil Of Oregano P73. I use this to worm my dogs, livestock, and me! It is anti viral, anti-parasite, anti-bacteria, anti-fungal. I have tried other brands but the North American P73 brand was the best. It has the highest active ingredient . I have not had the flu in 2.5 years , I have seen worms leave my dog, I also use it for mastitis in my goats.
Hmm...very interesting! There are so many testimonials on their website about people seeing worms in their stools! Did they use it for 3 weeks at least? That's how long they say to use it.

So does that mean there are two kinds, a rounded and a sharp? Also for the goats it's not give after they are sick, but as a preventative. I'll also look into the oregano P73. Thanks for the insite.

From what I've read...DE contains trace minerals which have helped people to feel much better.
Scientific studies have been done to show its efficacy in lowering cholesterol as well.
Stronger teeth and gums and nails, youthful hair color growing in where there was gray...thinning and bald hair growing in....sounds really amazing!!

Anti Caking Agents are used all the time, in food, vitamins ect. They help things from getting caked up... In vitamins, they coat the vitamin powder which helps it go thru the machines faster. Each pill only has a tiny bit in it, which by itself is not too bad. HOWEVER, if you are taking 15 vitamins a day and they all have it in it over some time, your insides are going to get caked up. You absorb most of your nutrients in the intestines. With all this anti caking stuff in you, your health will deteriorate over time as you will not be able to absorb!!! This stuff is like powdered caulk. Thanks, Lola. However, my ecosystem has been terrible, so I really need something to get rid of the candida. Been on probiotics and candex, avoiding all fruits, etc. and nothing has worked.

They said that they never had a lady speak on any broadcasts, so it was not they. They have proven results that it does get rid of parasites. Also that there have been animal studies proving its efficacy when fed with food.
Also, doesn't affect bowl flora negatively.
They thought that perhaps you may have used a different DE than theirs.

If you're limiting sugars in your diet, and eating lots of garlic, but still have yeast problems, then something else is going on. I've read that candida surrounds mercury and protects against mercury damage when people have too much mercury in their systems; if this is the case in your body, then getting rid of the candida without getting rid of mercury would only cause you more problems. That may be why your body is hanging onto the candida, in spite of the discomfort the candida is causing.
I don't know for a fact that mercury is your problem; I only know that mercury can cause resistant candida problems. Other things might also cause this problem. The point I'm making is simply that candida may be a symptom, not a cause, and you need to get to the cause to eliminate the problem.

saw a differant type of de today. it was rounded and reminded me of cat litter. i use a white powder type that is specifed for the destuction of "soft bodied organisims". i lost three goats this year when i stoped using it for a bit and by the time i cuaght it it they were to infested for even the ugard (heavy chemical) to kill. getting the 50lb bag this year and am not going to let that happen again! i have had my own test on this. had a bad horn worm the first year i started buying de. threw some right in the face of one worm (i was really put out by then). the next day the worm was exsactly where i had seen it last. at first i was mad and then i relized it letteraly had not moved. on closer inspection i relized it had mummified after getting a big mouthfull of the stuff! last time i got a small bag of this type they only had one bag left. aperntly some guys dr told him to take it for himself and he had been buying it up and putting it in his food. (the same stuff i am using)

I, too, eat raw garlic every day and still have candida...working with my Kinesiologist to get rid of it. I started taking DE quite a few months ago, within a few days, my insomnia was gone and I didn't feel quite so irritated and anxious all the time...so it must've had some good effects on my system! Only your own body can tell you if it's doing something to your health, everyone is different!
