Now that I have gathered a list of suggested supplements from members regarding trauma (Bach Flower remedies, Traumateel, L-Theanine) - please weigh in (especially A's a nonnies, but everyone is welcome) about your experiences with Deflect and/or Cortiguard. I would like to listen to your stories and choose one to start off with. Extreme thanks..... |

I first experienced deflect years ago when I began the blood type diet. It wasn't until I did an elimination diet (for allergies/related sinus issues) over a year ago that I realized the power it has to relieve an upset stomach from not eating compliant! Cortiguard helps me relax somewhat as I tend to be naturally "wiry". I take it to aid in dealing with daily stress. |

I find that deflect really helps to prevent what I would normally suffer as a result of eating what I should not. Mainly sinus problems, joint pain and edema. Cortiguard prevented me from panicking in cases that I normally would. Both are excellent products. My health food owner was impressed with deflect. |

Cortiguard has done wonders for my acute stress management throughout the day (i.e. dog grooming). I take Deflect at night on an empty stomach to help with my past lectin damage. It also keeps me "regular". |

I find Delect also works as a sort of fast acting pain killer when i inadvertently drank a malt/wheat beer the next day i felt dreadful and took some Deflect and the aches and pains in my limbs stopped! So I love it. |

I'm considering getting the Deflect product - I'm wondering if there is a dose specific amount that you always stay on (ie. the 2 capsules 2-3X daily recommended) or can you allow for a few months of healing at this pace with it and then dose it down to say 1 per meal etc? Just trying to figure out budget for supps for the coming months. |

My recent order of deflect A really smells strong of skunk to me but the company assured me that there is no problem with it. They said the change they made was for the better. |

MM, Sometimes I take deflect daily but many times it may be weekly. I just listen to my body to feel what/when its needed. I have been doing this for almost 2 years, but started BTD back around 2003. |
