I have been drinking the Type O tea for many months now and think it is the best I have tasted. Love the little sachet! I steep only two minutes and don't add anything.

The type "A" tea is simply delicious! Smells heavenly as well. Relaxing...calming. Love it! |

I think the B tea is very good. "Green Tea with the sweetness of licorice and exciting flavor accents featuring sage, cool peppermint, and the heat of ginger- topped off with the juiciness of fresh peaches." It also has rosehips, which I always like.
I generally buy the A type though. |

The O tea is absolutely delicious. I tasted it at the Williamsburg store grand opening. It's too pricey for me to buy though. I've never tasted the other 3 tea flavors.
I didn't have any of the O tea when I went to the Williamsburg store for a Thursday night support group, as I know I can't tolerate green tea so late at night (it keeps me awake.) |

To me, the Type O tea has a neutral / very slight bitter taste when steeped in cold water. When steeped in hot water, it is very bitter and I don't like it at all. It might be a nonnie thing |

As I said before I really like the O tea. I don't find it bitter at all. So maybe that is a nonnie thing. Why don't they sale it in refill bags? The tins are nice but well I'm getting a collection of them. |

I bought it years ago and I found it a little bitter too. I thought maybe I was steeping it too long I've never checked my taster status but I wouldn't be surprised to find out I'm a supertaster and I'm not a nonnie. Jane |

I am a super taster and don't find it bitter.
Tom, are you sure you're not oversteeping? You may just not care for the taste of green tea, which has a little natural tang. Have you tasted other green teas?
Drinking a cup now and keep sipping and thinking how to describe that specific taste of green tea! It's got a little bite, that's the best I can do! |

Love the A tea-- but it does keep me awake if I drink it too late at night. |

I feel the same way about the tins ......that there should be something useful I should be doing with my collection...which I keep saving...but think they belong in my recycling bin. Might be a few dollars cheaper if we could buy refill packs and put them back in our original tin. Doesn't make sense to get a new tin with every order. |

It depends on the quantity the manufacturer has to make at one time... The tin will keep the tea much fresher than a bag would, although with some of the new bag technologies, who knows? ... |

Very good point...I didn't think of the storage factor for the manufacturer....keeping tea fresh until they ship an order. Bag technologies are complicated. I've opened a heat sealed bag of nuts that tasted rancid...with no air being able to get into the bag. Expiration date not reached. Best way to store tea is in tins...so perhaps there won't be any immediate solution to my tin collection. A craft project? Anyone have a clever use for at least 10 tea tins? |
