Thank GOD.....*still down on my knees, again* that my blood pressure has returned to healthy, normal levels after this Christmas!

So far as I know, though, since May, before I began the slow process of getting on my own BTD and following it to detail...I have had very-so-slight blurry vision, and a slight harder time focusing, esp. under lower lights.

I do siberian ginseng, tyrosine and ginko and my B12 to keep my cortisol levels down. And it works.
My attitude has changed greatly.

But with my lowered blood pressure my eyes and capillaries in them have not adjusted yet.

I can remember a time years ago when I did a raw foods diet and plenty of carrot/spinach juice.
After doing that awhile, I was able to GET RID OF my reading glasses completely for 14 years!
It's really true...
So I've only recently had a slight vision problem again.

Should I buy myself a juicer as a New Years Eve present, and go back to juicing?  
I am not on the D'Adamo vitamins. Yet.
i wonder what would work best.

I have injury induced glaucoma and Ocubright keeps my pressure down.  I highly recommend it.

If you have trouble with night vision or floaters or zig zag lines try Bilberry.  I rarely get them now, but I used to get ocular migraines and that helped.

RedLilac, what were your numbers before and after Ocubright?  How much do you take and how frequently?

Wonderful, R.L.  I inadvertently found, 2 years ago, that I inheirited the narrower eye sockets from one part of my family, and was told to get minor laser surgery to "prevent" glaucoma in my later years. And yes - if brainwaves change, under undue stress, I will get an "eye migrane" that looks like shattered stained glass flashing in front of me. I did not know that about Bilberry. *hugs*

Do you guys really have to take 4 caps a day to "see" results?  

You might try Vision Optimizer by Jarrow. It has a lot of the same stuff as D'Adamo's Ocubright but is a lot less expensive. It is a 'hot seller' in the local health food stores in my area.

I also take Cod Liver Oil by Nortic Naturals, which has a high amount of DHA.

Both of these changes have sharpened my vision recently. I depend on only one eye for vision, so any help through nutrition etc is a great joy to me.

Dr D's is a skilfully managed aid. it has more of some of the ingredients in each capsule.

the other products has some vital ingredients missing and many unrelated contents, one has to ask for example if the vitamin c is corn derived etc also if you fire a load of things at a problem it can miss completely. overload the responses.

Ocubrught is a class act.

I also think you need to be careful of the source of some of these other supplements. some are selling at half the cost of the same item - something has to give in these circumstances. like people adding there own ingredients or worse...

I'm happier with Dr D's stuff from a reliable source.

Dr. D'Adamo's Ocubright is $80 per month. If money were no object, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Seraffa, DHA from fish oil may sharpen your vision. Dr. D'Adamo does have a fish oil product.

I trust Jarrow and Nortic Naturals. I can SEE the results.

I take only 1 x 2 daily.
I'll know better after my 6-monthly eye check up (OCT) due in Feb 12.

I don’t recall what my numbers were when I was 1st diagnosed.  On just eye drops, I think it was around 18-20.  For my appointment on Friday December 30, 2011 they were 13 & 15.   I’m supposed to take my medication every day in both eyes, but at $40 for a little itty bitty bottle I take them when I feel like it, either every other day or skip 2 days.  I take one Ocubrite every day.

Just what exactly do you mean by that, you say yourself that you would buy it in a heartbeat, you keep contridicting yourself? I don't know what you keep rattling on about! the product is not that much cheaper than Dr D's.

and why do you trust Jarrow and nortic naturals anyway - what info do you have on their history or who is in charge of the company?

Also note that cod liver oil is an avoid for O NONNies, and is generally only a neutral for others (except A Non)

Thanks.  That's a pretty significant result.  I'm at 21-22 currently without medication, and it rises one point every couple of years.
