I am about to start the BTD and want to get onto some supplements, but I'm a bit confused with all the supps listed for A types so I would like some advice/opinions on what I should start off with and hear your experiences and results with Dr D's supps.

If you do not know secretor status, I recommend starting with a secretor test.

Adjust the diet as needed for your secretor status and then decide if you need supplements.

Without any other information, the general supplement recommendation for type As is the basic pack:

Work on the diet for three months and wait to get the supplements. Recommend you invest in the secretor test.. JMHO

I've ordered a secretor test kit so I hope to know my status soon, with regards to my overall health I've had a nasty winter were I've caught every bug going including whooping cough, so my immune system needs building up.

Some other info:

I was diagnosed with fructose malabsorption about two years ago, I crave sugar and carbs a lot and I am about 10 kilos (22lbs) overweight. I also have low iron levels and am peri-menopausal so I have a few things I want to fix.

I am more concerned with being healthy than I am with losing lots of weight.
