Is it necessary/beneficial to use deflect if eating compliantly? For the first 3 months I would take 1 Deflect & 1 Polyflora at bedtime and in the morning on an empty stomach 1 Polyflora. Now is it sufficient to take Deflect only when I am in a situation to consume avoids? Thanks.

Dianne what are your goals? Weight loss? health issues?

Need more information on you.

Does not seem like enough to me.

Andrea,
My weight is now stable. I did the Bernard Jensen deep tissue cleanse in March and lost 15 lbs., introduced to the GTD right after the cleanse and began immediately. Lost the last 5 lbs. with the GTD and maintaining my weight. Stomach and colon mostly healed from celiac. Have consumed wheat 2-3 times monthly at times for the past 20 years, but not every month. Presently take l-glutamine and bovine colostrum and that has fast forwarded my gut healing.
I eat 99% compliant, I feel very comfortable in my body now, energetic and happy! I have an infrared sauna at home 2-3 timess weekly; 5 in the autumn/winter. My allergies are almost non-existent now as well.

Thank you for replying.

deflect is used best to heal lectin damage done from the past....
it should not be a license to eat avoids.......although it does work for that as well

Thank you Lola. I would like to know a recommended daily amount to repair the lectin damage and if it should be taken on an empty stomach. I have been take it at the same time as the Polyflora, is that alright? Many thanks again for your help.

Yes, if you are using Deflect to repair past lectin damage, it should be taken on an empty stomach. I take 2 Deflects right before bed. I used to take 2 Polyflora at the same time, but now that I'm eating so many cultured veggies and drinking water kefir and kombucha, I no longer feel the need for polyflora.

It is not my responsibility to convince anyone of anything.
