away from food

My health protocol says, I should take my B12 "away from food".
Methylcobalamin (Methyl B12), 1000 mcg: 2 capsules, daily, away from food
How long is away from food? I come home between 5 and 6 in the afternoon. And I then have a small meal around 7 (I'm following the King, prince, pauper principle on my food, which works great for me). If I take my 2 capsules as soon as I get home, is eating at 7 enough time "away from food".
Or is another time-slot better to take the B12?

I just guess that it in the middle of two meals and specifiaclly not with meals.

I consider "away from food" to be 1 hour before and two hours after a meal or any food.
