I'm pretty sure I'm going to purchase Genoma Security soon to try against my yeast overgrowth. What has been your experience with it? Have you had die-off or detox symptoms while using it? |

I am on my third month using Genoma Security. I have chronic Lyme disease.
Yes, there is die off. My pain level is off the charts since I started this. I have to take a day off every now and then to give myself a break. It must be working. I am hoping it is helping with biofilm from the Lyme disease. |

How much are you using? Are you taking other supplements to help detox? |

I'm taking 2 Genoma Security per day. Like Kim, I've had chronic Lyme too.....since I'm in my late 20s.
My experience with this supplement. At first, very little that I noticed on one pill with breakfast... THen I added a second pill with dinner.... Suddenly, night sweats....hot and cold feelings all day long. Achy joints....achy muscles....gas, bloat, constipation....
I stopped for a few days to regain my equilibrium........(I'm taking Security on and off for about 6 months).
I'm back on 2 pills again.....Night sweats again.....stuffy nose sometimes.....the feeling that I have the flu.....It goes away on one pill......but every few days I go back to 2 pills and the die off starts again.
It's a balancing act between the one pill and two pills.
I'm also taking Hepatiguard....Deflect A, Polyflora A....Live Cell A...Bromelain....Quercetin.... I've sometimes taken Olive Leaf Extract.
I'm doing dry brushing of my skin first thing in the AM....and then I spray my body with 32 pumps of magnesium oil....leave it on for 30 minutes and shower it off. I take the multi and mineral formulas from DPN.....plus Cortiguard.....Methyl B12....
I also take Boswellia.....and Triphala.
It's a long slow journey trying to detox from Lyme.....and the layers of co-infections/viruses that accompany it.
I have many weeks and sometimes longer than that where I feel really well....and suddenly out of nowhere, I feel a setback.....perhaps deeper detoxing......more die off...
I also had an accident in October....had way too many MRIs, CAT scans and Xrays.....plus abx for a UTI that I hated to take but had no choice -- I was in a hospital and it was given to me.
My immune system seems very strong.....I don't get sick with infections or viruses....but I'm thinking these biofilms which have to be slowly eliminated cause a lot of issues while you're trying to get healthier.
Kim mentioned pain....I go through cycles of less pain and more pain. RIght now, I'm dealing with less pain. But I added Cortiguard....am doing more yoga so perhaps I'm just calmer.
I honestly think it's an awesome supplement....I'm still trying to find the perfect dose. I probably would do best on 1 1/2 pills per day if I could break one of those capsules open but not sure if I should do that... Two seems like a bit too much...and one isn't quite enough. But I am feeling somewhat improved. |

I wonder .. would one not be enough LONG term? meaning, you would not 'see' results but feel them over the long haul? I have no answer, other then it takes time to get healthy.. decades for me.. but Lyme is another thing so I am not advocating anything ..
may I ask.. what is biofilm? |

Wow Kim, that's a lot of supplements! But it looks like you are supporting your liver well. It is a shame we have to take so many supplements when sick and trying to heal. I hope that once I've cleaned out the yeast and whatever else may be lurking in my gut with it, that I won't need so many of them.
Chloe, some people on the forums say that Deflect can also can detox reactions. With a supplement like Security, I suppose that you'd need a certain amount for it to be effective. |

Well, I ordered my Genoma Security today, along with the Explorer Activator and Catalyst, and Candidase from Amazon. I hope things will start moving forward again soon! |

http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP045 Maybe better to use Genoma EQ.... and not the security. Two different products.
It looked appealing, but the Security seemed more appropriate for my circumstances. I'd get both if I could justify it. |

I think I'm going to get some Genoma EQ on my next order. I'll probably get another bottle of Genoma Security and a bottle of Deflect B, too. For some reason, I thought Security contained stinging nettle, but that doesn't seem to be the case... |

But does the EQ deal with biofilms like the Security? It's got completely different stuff in it.
Wow, I'm really glad I clicked on this thread. I'm thinking about getting this to help deal with Lyme's disease also. |

I don't think EQ works against biofilms. |

Thank you. I didn't see anything about it either. I'm all for the taking it easy and going slow method. Instead of the removing the fly from your head with an axe method. If I try the stuff, I'd be opening the caps for sure. |
