Most people have that reaction to Intrinsa... I happen to like it, but it does have an odor. I hope it helps you. |

I like the smell of Intrinsa. Call me crazy...but to me it smells like a cross between ghee and vomit. But it really will help your gut heal! |

that's disgusting and yep that's what it smells like...haha. I had to wash my hands and my mouth afterwards Ok well at least I know what to expect, I can use a spoon to get it out of the bottle, and I'll definitely take it if it's gonna do the job...will I notice benefits sooner or later? I know of course it depends on how much damage there is, but would love to hear results you all have had. I love the smell of ghee, this isn't even close...thanks all |

I agree with the vomit part and the smell stays with me for a while after taking it. Stays on my breath. But it is a good product. |

OMG Lola ....for me it's not like any ghee I've smelled! Different strokes as they say Andrea yes, I agree, and those smells bother me too, like parmesan cheese, or kissing my fiance after he's eaten butter...yuck ... anyway I had to make sure there wasn't something wrong with it, since all of Dr D's other products smell so good and fresh, like Deflect Patty yes, but when I opened the container I nearly fell over, no I couldn't taste it but the smell got on my hand and then my lips when I put the pills in my mouth... I'm very sensitive I guess |

Way back when my husband visited Dr. D.... he told him he was going to give him licorice, well jeff could not wait to get home and try it. OMG>>> it was nasty black like tar and had to be melted in hot water and drunk like a tea. I think Dr. D smiled for just a moment when he handed the jar to Jeff. |

Well I got my Intrinsa, and this morning i didn't even notice the smell lol, I had just opened the container and popped 2 caps in my mouth no problem and no taste or smell.
this evening i pop 2 caps in a pill box to remind me to take them later, Amber walked in the hall and asked me if i had be eating Parmesan cheese. I didn't know what she was talking about.
I then took a sniff of my fingers and the pill box. OMG strong, but not really nasty TBH.
Any way i have prepared for this and you no what that say, "time spent on reconnaissance is rarely wasted".

Got my first bottle of Intrinsia yesterday and took 2 on an empty stomach. Noticed a big difference when I woke up...my insides feel calm and relaxed. Took two with breakfast and the sense of well being has increased. Two with dinner...my insides are thanking me! I am very impressed and pleased with such an immediate, positive reaction. I don't have candida so that could be a reason why I'm not having any violent reactions. I have other gut issues, this is a very promising supplement.
It smells like well aged parmesan cheese which I love. Thanks Dr. D'Adamo for your formulations. |

I love the stuff and what irt does, but I thought it should be taken on an empty stomach. I took mine first thing on the morning and last thing at night initially but changed it so that my second portion was taken mid afternoon between meals, seemed to work even better. I only took it for a month (one bottle) but I'm thinking of getting a few more in the near future when i have finished other supps. |

concentration is not the same-- also intrinsia is mixed with other things to help it work better. Here is the info on it.--
Quoted Text
Created for use in his clinical practice, Dr. D’Adamo has blended two synergistic dietary nutrients, Butyric Acid and Caprylic Acid, with Larch Arabinogalactan to create a superior formula to protect and support stomach, intestine, and colon health.
Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid, which supports the health and healing of cells in the small and large intestine, and serves the natural processes of aerobic energy metabolism. Short-chain fatty acids can have the protective ability of impeding the proliferation of damaging cells in the colon, and have been associated with helping to maintain healthy blood lipid and sugar levels.
Caprylic acid is a medium-chain fatty acid that is absorbed from the intestines and carried by blood lipids. However, medium-chain fatty acids have more difficulty in penetrating fatty cell walls. In the Intrinsa formula, caprylic acid works synergistically with butyric acid — a short-chain fatty acid — so that it can more easily penetrate tissues in the body such as muscles, joints, and sinuses. Caprylic acid is known to have anti-fungal properties.
Mounting evidence also suggests that some of the naturally derived, medium-chain, saturated fatty acids also possess anti-microbial and anti-parasitic properties. Larch arabinogalactan further enhances the Intrinsa formula, improving gastrointestinal health by increasing gut microflora, and offering immune enhancing properties. Magnesium acts to stabilize and blend the two protective fatty acids.

Well, I can eat ghee and I love it! HOWEVER, I don't eat a lot, but it doesn't take a lot to make my stomach feel good anyway! |
