Hi there.
I am a new member just starting out with the BTD. Im 0-.
I have noted that aloe vera is an 'avoid' for all blood types and yet  aloe vera is strongly promoted for skin and  digestive problems.
If a plant is to be avoided does that mean internally and externally?

Two of my favourite skin care routines include pure Aloe vera gel and avocado oil. Avocado is on the avoid list for Os so should I stop using a skin cream that contains avocado  even tho it feels so good on my skin?
I am from New Zealand and would appreciate contact from fellow NZers to swap recipes etc.
I look forward to learning from the group wisdom.
Thank you

keep on using your topical avoids.......no worries, unless you show an allergic reaction toward them.

Welcome Hazel Lucy (nice lady from pipnjohn's local health food shop) to the forum and the BTD way of life.  As Lola said above...unless you have a reaction to using aloe and avocado on the outside it will be okay.   Especially if it feels so good on your skin.   Just don't ingest it.

Avoids are labeled that way because of how our bodies react when the food passed through the digestive process.
