Hi Peoples,
I have a question about Polyflora O, My daughter (13) Stayed over at her friends house a few weeks ago, they served her Chicken that wasn't cooked well, She got very ill from it that the doctors have placed her on two courses of antibiodics (sorry spelling) She is almost finished the course, although she still is getting symptoms, not bad ones just numbness here and there as well as hot and cold feelings with pain in her stomach. We are still waiting on test restults to come back, could be another week or two, they think it could be listera poisoning, yes i know it is deadly. I am wanting to put her on polyflora O as soon as she stops the antiliodics to build her immune system back up, the bottle says one capsule four times aday, how much do you think i should give (13 years old 5 foot 4, 60 kilograms) as well as will the good bacteria live if she was to open the capsule and spinkle it on her tonge and drink it with juice or water? (she dont like swallowing tablets) any help you could give me would be great. I'm a little scared of the illness comming back, it was pretty bad, she was having difficulties in breathing, lots of numbness including in the brain with blurred vision as well as not eatting much for two weeks, i was so scared i was going to lose her. any help would be great. I have her taking 3 lots of wheat grass and 2 teaspoons of calcium ascorbate (vitamin c) a day. Thanks tracy

I think it needs to stay in the capsule to get to the gut, but don't quote me.  She should start the polyfolra now, and not when she's finished with the antibiotics.  She should take the polyflora at least 1-2 hours apart from the antibiotic.  Start with one capsule twice a day, and maybe add from there.  I'd also recommend she be taking some ghee and ARA6.

Solitude,

You should get her on the anti-bacterial protocol that Dr. D has in his Complete Blood Type Encyclopedia.  It's amazing.

If she's an O, it largely consists of

1) astragalus,
2) zinc,
3) vitamin C

and some other things I can't remember right now.
