I worry about the bentonite clay in Gastroleve. I've read that it soaks up nutrients.

I'd like to have some other choices, if possible.

Sparkling mineral water before meals.  Gerolsteiner is ideal.

Thanks for your suggestions! More fucus is a good thought. I used to eat a lot more sushi, and all that seaweed seemed to soothe my stomach. Since I've moved to Seattle I'm having trouble finding good sushi so don't eat as much any more. I usually take one fucus capsule in the morning. Maybe one more would do the trick.

And yes, I love carbonated water, but lately it hasn't been effective. Gerolsteiner is great! Pellegrino may be my all time favorite.

I know my two bad habits are exacerbating the problem: eating on the run and 85 percent chocolate (a neutral for O's, but acidic).

I'm a bit fanatical about reading ingredient lists. The chocolate I eat (Lindt) is nothing but chocolate, sugar, and vanilla. Another of my favorites is Endangered Species, 88 percent. They use beet sugar as a sweetener. Even at 88 percent, it's almost too sweet.

sugar is not your best choice, depending on issues, health challenges, age, etc......
