Hey guys if you could help me with a little of your wisdom to save me a lot of time in studies, what yould you recomend in nap products for type O to enhance the immune system. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I just found out that cemical sensitivies and food allergys is fully related to the immune system, i have been treating histamin levels, although that has helped get us through it isn't making us better. Thanks in advance Tracy

Have you looked at the Immune Support Protocols?

One thing you could do, which would have benefits in other areas, is start taking Dr. D's ARA6.

NAP entry on ARA6.

Hope this helps you get pointed in the right direction.

There is a ton of information on the web site.  I'd highly recommend the Media Center page where you can actually listen to interviews with Dr. D on the radio, as well as listen to some lectures Dr. D has given.  There are also some short informational slide shows, and professional reviews.  Dr. D's blog as well as his ASK column and Heidi's blog/column are loaded with information.

Yeah i tried that and the list was so long. I found another site on the net, (christian site) they talk about the eat right for your type program. Oh his site he has a list of illness', Under his chemical sensitivies part he is talking about it being about the immune system. I have been teating the histamin levels, not getting better doing that. I'm going to give the ara6 ago, actually i have decided i am going to get all the products that Dr D recomends for the immune system protocol and see how we go with that. I'm hoping and praying it works. It's really sad having to knock my friends back when they invite you for dinner, although they are willing to make it ok for my blood type but i am allergic to like everything, having to soak my meat in vitamin c before i can cook it. I have to becarefull of anything i put in my mouth or i am out of action for three days. I had ice cream one day and was bed ridden for a day, its mad. But at least i'm alive! thanks for all the advice guys. Tracy

I found out that in the last few months my body changed dratically not only that I gained weight, but also when there's a little *bibeli* (whitehead or similarities and I go for removing it, I get as quick red rashes even by scrabbing a bit anywhere.......red rashes hmmm my skin got very, very dry
and in one direction it does disturb me and then doesn't bother me at all...AB-like

It seems that I've to be carefull also with supplements in not creating an overactive immunsystem by myselve ......

Understand that you do not have to take "all" the products in the protocol.  Dr. D explains using the protocols Here

From the severity of the reactions you are experiencing, I highly recommend you get your Secretor Status tested.  You can buy the kit from NAP.  It doesn't require a doctors scrip.  Understand that your diet would change signifigantly if you are a Type O nonnie.

Knowledge is power.  And knowing your secretor status is usually the key to achieving a higher level of success with the BTD, by being able to follow the diet with a higher level of compliance.

I hope this information helps.  Keep posting and asking questions!  We are all here to help each other succeed in this new way of living and eating.

ARA6 is a wonderful ABO friendly immune system supplement that can be easily blended into water, juice, or food (this is my prefered option).

As a benefit, it contains fiber for the body, as well.

ARA6 is a supplement that is synergisticly used with many other NAP supplement formulas.

Lola: http://healthybodychurch.com.au/index.htm just scroll down, its listed under The blood type factor. if you go down further it reads: Allergies Most so called allergies are not really allergies but food intolerances which can be temporary or related to an imbalance in the diet or the body ecology. Allergies are not in the digestive tract but in the immune system which creates an antibody to the food. Sudden and severe rashes, swelling, cramps and other specific symptoms which indicate the body’s intention to eliminate the poisonous food will result. Intolerances often occur with foods that our blood type doesn’t suit. Other intolerances are due to us eating too many foods that affect us in a certain way so the last to be eaten is the offender. Many of the symptoms attributed to allergies such as itching, sneezing, runny nose wheezing, coughing and red watery eyes are part of the body elimination process in overdrive. They can be triggered by something but an allergy is often not the case. Check information on Candida albicans and refer to the Body ecology section after body Ph.
Being a christian myself i disagree with some of the things he says, but if he likes it so be it. Live and Let Live.

KimonoKat: i was going to get my status done down in melbourne, thats the only place in australia that does it. I decided against getting the test done as i preformed a test of my own. Since i am so allergic to everything off the O bloodgroup diet i ate some foods that nonnies can have and the others can't, i got triggered so to me that is safe to say that i am not a nonnie. I do have candida though and if i eat to much sugar it triggers me off as well. First symtoms of that is lumps in my mouth. then i stay off sugar for a few days. I have never been to big on breads so thats not a problem. so do you think Just getting the ara6 will help. I have just started taking the deflect, i am totaly amazed with it, I decided to test it to see if it works and it does, the symptoms that i got from the food that i ate were bought down by at least 90%. Not going to push myself though, i tested it once that will do lol. Yeah i have become a chicken over the last year.

Thanks for the reply's ppl's.

Here is what the determinator program says i need for Level One Supplement Selections in the order it is listed. so the ara6 comes 6th on the list. I know i do have a lot of prob's, most of us do in this world. I still think that the ARA6 would probley help in what i want for now, I just need to raise my immune system so i can get back to where i was before this illness set in. This illness is the worst anyone can get i reckon, Doctor's say : careful what you eat, careful what you smell, oh and yeah sorry we can't help you, it is incurable. I ain't going out like that, i know there is a answer! Tracy.

Tracy...sorry to hear about all of your food intolerances and hope you get it under control soon.  I have to agree with KK in getting your secretor status checked.  Once you find that out for sure you can adjust and help your body heal itself with the correct foods/supplements.  Some of the foods that you can/cannot tolerate right now may change once you are on a better road to recovery and knowing your secretor status from the beginning will benefit much better.  I waited three years before I got mine thinking I was a secretor.  Not !!   Ah well...I am a royal.

You have a good list of things to get from NAP.  I am surprised DEFLECT 'O' is not on there.  There is a savings package that contains three other products with it.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I agree about getting your secretor status tested, Solitude.  I was Sure!!! I was a secretor for 4 years as I ate like one.

With so many food sensitivities, I think it's nearly impossible for you to self test right now with any certainty of the results.  And with your health in such a delicate balance, I don't think you can afford to be wrong.

And I agree with you that many, if not most food intolerances will disappear in time as the body is given what it needs in order to heal.

I would recommend that you also use the quercetin, which may help to down regulate your over-reactive system.

Its a funny thing, I did the determinator program for hubby as well. he has the same illness except i am more worst on foods with reactions where as he has more reactions to chemicals, Almost all the same supplements came up except in different orders, for the quercetin it was listed as third. Catechol was first. That was listed 9th for me. i may aswell get both and see what happens. I think i will get the testing done the next time i am in melbourne. does anyone know the address for the lab in melbourne? had it on old hard drive, thats gone now. Thanks in advance. Tracy.

Solitude,

I had multiple food/chemical/environmental allergies or intolerances.  I learned about a technique called NAET to eliminate allergies.  While being treated using NAET, one of the other patients told me about the BTD.  I started BTD, then stopped BTD because I was getting so much better and didn't know what to attribute the benefits to...  After about three years of eating without regards to BTD, I started having increased sensitivities, not to items previously treated with NAET, but to combinations of food items.  Since I got very compliant with BTD, I still have some problems as the toxins from prior are removed from the tissues/fats/hard fatty cysts.

It will be an interesting transition from reacting to almost all foods to becoming healthy and responding very well to compliant foods.  I wish you the best in your "Get Healthy" effort.

Thanks ABJoe, since having this illness i have met others with it in this small town, they haven't been as bad as we were/are. I went and had allergy testing, the foods that i wasn't allergic to were avoid foods, i ate them and had a bad reaction. After being to so many natroupaths and allergy specialist and suffering badly by there hand we have decided that this program is the only one that works. To be honest i don't think we would be alive today without this diet, either that or we would both be in the nut house lol. I can not thank Dr. D enough for his research, he has given us back our quality of life. Although everyone still says it is incurable i still don't believe that considering we have followed Dr. D's program for a bit over a year so far and it has help big time. I placed a order for Quercetin plus, live cell "O", Catechol and Polyvite "O" today. hope i get them by the end of this week. Last delivery took 9 days but NZ and Aus had holidays. Will let you all know how we go with the products. Oh yeah that reminds me, i was with a woman today who was wearing lots of perfum, first time it hasn't affected me! WOHOO! i say it has something to do with the 2 products i am using already.
