A friend of mine is an A. Just talked to her about BTD...and it's benefits. She mentioned that for the past one year, she suffers from spotting for a week before her period regularises. The duration of the regular period lasts for about 5 days, and a few days later the on-off thing starts again. She's 43, has 2 children in their 20's, is in relatively good health. During her periods, her flow is very heavy, has back ache, and gets terribly tired. After much contemplation she went to see a doc, who suggested pre menopausal syndrome...and if it persisted for too long, he recommended hysterectomy!!!! My friend is totally against the idea of popping pills & surgery...unless it's life threatening.
Anyway, if there's any advice I could give her, please let me know. She doesnt read English, so I cant loan her the LR4YT. Anyone who has practical, real life remedies which are A compliant, please share them here.

the menopause book would be a great asset. try finding it at your local library, and give her all the details and guidelines.
look into the online protocols, also. remember that a lectin free diet is a great start, in controlling menopause issues, as well as following lifestyle guidelines given, for her type....like lowering cortisol levels through the right exercise...etc/

Folks, I dont have the whole series of Dr D's books...and since BTD is relatively new to this part of the world9south east asia), the local libraries dont carry any of the books (yet). So if anyone has the menopause book, could you please help me with my query? I've alreday compiled a list of beneficials & avoids for her...but I feel it's not enough. Please help me.

Thanks very much!
I think ER has been translated into a ton of languages. What language does she read/speak?
ETA And don't forget. We have an international forum here, with members who speak/write/communicate in several languages.

I'm aware KimonoKat. Unfortunately, her mother tongue is Tamil. I doubt whether Dr D's books are in any Asian languages. May be Mandarin or Japanese...

and she should have an eye on not to get into a severe anemia ,too ooo wow, how easy...to recommend surgery in that points I'd go for the bloodpurifyer and at the same time nutritioner * dong quai*,l'arginine magnesium, evening primroseoil and a red lamp for bachpains, helps tremendiously. I did go threw such symptoms too, but she must know, that after some months she will experience, no more periods at all;) this is not prémenopsys but she jumped into of the finest .... it took me about 8 or 10 months like that...now I am in my absolute calmness yessss here you are right, that's up to her , and me is me...and others are different;) but that was the comparison of lots of women I observed in the last years .
sorry forgot to mention the intake of soyproducts or soyisoflavones helps enormously too as being an A
Progesterone made from wild yam, and applied either to the skin as a cream, or to the gums in a vitamin E base, can help with those transitions. It is to be stopped on the first day of the period and then waiting for 2 weeks before starting again. As the periods actually stop, the time off can decrease to 5 to 7 days.

I can vouch for Progest-E, which I've been taking for several months. It has helped to regulate my periods, which is such a relief. And I no longer get any symptoms that my period is coming, which is also a relief. Easy peasy.
