I am looking for some information on recommendations concerning herbal supplements and herbal teas.
When a medicinal plant or herb is recommended for a blood type and/or secretor type, is the recommendation good for any forms in which we can find it (herbal tea or supplement)?
Can someone help me on this one?

Welcome to the forum, CriCri.
The label of herbal teas usually states the mg, et al. measurements of the herbs contained in the tea. Compare this number with any type of herbal supplement you wish to take. This may require that you need to drink two to three cups of a specific herbal tea daily to equal one herbal pill.
Look for specific references to roots, leaves, stems used in both tea and herbal supplement preparations.

If I'm dealing with a chronic condition or an acute flare-up of some problem, I would go for the supplement form such as pills, capsules or tinctures. If my condition was stabilized and I wanted to use a preventative measure, I would drink the teas. |

Thanks to all of you for those recommendations. All of them will help me to make a better choice Hello Lola, To answer your question, I have many of the books of Dr. D'Adamo (French version for most of them), including "Eat Right 4 Your Type: Complete Blood Type Encyclopedia" and I have started to familiarize myself to the protocol enclosed in it, but I might not have looked at it close enough . I was looking at the list of supplements at the end of the book, where there are no mention of the form in which to take those but, may be is it because the recommendations are different depending on the protocol to be followed. I did not know that we could find the protocol on the web site. Thanks for providing me with the link! |

Thanks Mastre!
I have had the chance to look at those a little. Those are very interesting.
Hope you will find a way to improve the quality of life for you and your family with Dr. D'Adamo recommendations.
One of my cousin has a son who, if I remember, suffers from autism to a certain extent. I can not remember if she got any diagnostic, and do not know if she tried anything concerning his food intake or possible supplementation to improve his quality of life.
Since I just found out that there are some posts on autism where the information could be shared, it might be something that could be of interest for her.
Have a nice day! |
