Proflora O has brewer's yeast in it and although it is listed as beneficial for my type, yeast in general is an allergen for type O, especially non secretors like myself with candida; so is it different from other yeasts in terms of being allergenic? If not, is it OK to take SBOs?

The yeast in PolyFlora O is a medicinal yeast and is commonly prescribed for diarrhea. Unfortunately, it is sometimes called "brewers yeast" which is isn't. You may want to do some Internet research on the saccharomyces boulardii yeast.

As you stated brewers and nutritional yeast is beneficial for type O non-secretors.

No mercury dental fillings. SBO is Soil Based Organisms - they are not specific for blood type but are supposed to be more stable etc. I'm new to this so how do you include quoted text in your blog reply?

Since you have health problems I think you might be better off using blood type specific probiotics and other solutions, at least until your health improves.
