It is really not difficult
protien- eggs, meat, fish, something veggies- just start adding you need a lot more this should make up the mass of your diet fats- ghee, fish oil, avocado, small amounts of olive oil, nuts, flax seed and oil |

I didn't much like butter for most of my life - bad incident with butter when I was a child - but since I've been making ghee, I eat it almost every day. And ghee is good for the digestion. |

My favorite substitute for mashed potatoes is pureed celery root, or celeriac. There's a recipe in the typebase. It is an ugly looking root, but tastes wonderful. It's neutral for all types.... |

If you have trouble with turnips, try cooking and mashing them with carrots at first. Helps get used to the strong flavour more gently. Or add them to soups. I find soups are a great way to get in lots of beneficial veggies AND to disguise/mellow out the flavours of the ones that I am not used to eating . As my tastes change, I find I actually like these veggies more...but the soup is so good that I still do that too. Also, it is nice in the morning to heat up a bit of your veg soup and toss in some tofu or beans and grain...warm, easy, delicious, and gets lots of goodies into you early in the day. |

Oh, also, if you use compliant veggies for both A and O in soups, it is great for your little one too. Just add some 'O' protein to hers instead of the A stuff. |

Too funny! We could have been sisters! I remember a discussion like this a while ago where it was 'discerned' that this was a BT A trait. I've gotten a lot better in my thirties and forties about food (I kind of had to to get my health back on track). |

Me too! I've always had issues with foods...mostly texture, I just don't like the way some things feel in my mouth. And smells...if they smell funny, I can't eat them. Looks...well that is what might make me not buy them . I am getting over a lot of it though, slowly but surely. since the btd I've also discovered that some of the things that I won't eat because of my 'issues' are actually avoids, so it's not all bad! |

Stick to the Tier II foods in LR if you're trying to overcome stress or an illness. Or adhere to only beneficial foods for the time being.
The Fatigue Health Series book may be helpful for you.
Please remember that blood type A's already have elevated basal levels of cortisol, thus take advantage yoga, alternate nostril breathing, a calm/relaxing lifestyle, peaceful time for yourself.

You are definitely doing better Jeannette! Now, keep on tweaking your program to make it better and better! If you don't get enough Omega 3's, depression can be one of the effects. |

Hi Jeannette, we are a large majority of As and I like every new or ethnic food or nearly (as a grown up probably), my mother hates them, my nephews are exactly so, the older eats a lot in qualtity and variety, the younger is picky and loves only his routine food. My brother is similar and despises ethnic food. It's good however to propose the largest number of foods to the children, when they are ready to digest them. They should become less picky and have a better panel of nutrients. Nostril breathing was for me a saviour also in the bus travels. From April I too could not arrange my schedule for yoga lessons. I realy miss it; if you'll find the time in the future try it ! Maria Giovanna |

I've always been a picky eater. If you think I'm bad now you should have seen me at age 2 . Occassionaly I try new foods but I need to know what it is before I eat it. I hope to one day fit yoga in. I do have a yoga video I bought for 50 cents at a yard sale last summer.
