Hi Kamaferro,

I am not any kind of doctor, but I think perhaps there is a great deal of self-help you can do in your situation.  The Budwig Cream formula should be an immense boost for you.  [The 'key' ingredients of this blend is a mixture of essential fatty acids with sulphur-containing protein.]  This combination allows oxygen to enter a cell.  When she was alive, this formulation of Dr. Budwig cured the cancers in thousands of people.  However, for most of this time her writings were only in German, so most of her insights stayed within the German-speaking world.  Udo Erasmus brought this info to the English-speakers by writing (in 1986): 'Fats and Oils'                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     ISBN 0-920470-10-6  The basic formula for the cream is 100g of kwark cheese or yogurt solids + 40g of fresh, cold-pressed flax oil + 25ml of milk to assist in blending.

Dr. Budwig did not approve of eating oil but promoted eating the fatty fish-wild salmon instead.

hope this helps ...........

John

Hi John: That book is now called:
"Fats that Heal Fats that Kill" by Udo Erasmus ISBN  0-920470-38-6

I have just borrowed it from my chiropractor and it mentions in the front of the book that it was called "Fats and Oils".  It is in its eighth printing.

Looking forward to reading this book.

Debra

Someone gave me a print out of a cottage cheese and flax oil recipe for cancer sufferers.  Since the cottage cheese is an avoid, does anyone have a recommendation for a substitute?  Or any comments on this being a legitimate protocol?  Thank you.  trish44

The Budwig Diet (cottage cheese and Flaxseed oil) and Essiac.
for leukemia...... again this is a one size fit all approach........try substituting, BT cancer specific protocols are best.
EFA's (essential fatty acids) are coupled with sulphur-containing proteins to
transport oxygen into cells.
yogurt or cottage cheese or quark(for B's and AB's).  Sulphur is also found in
broccoli, garlic, onions, and cabbage ... (best raw) ... in supplements like NAC -
N-acetyl cysteine.  There ARE many other sources of sulphur like eggs.

Thanks Lola, ok, but if it is a sulphur-containing protein, that wouldn't include the veggies would it.  Maybe the eggs?  Or maybe the veggies with a protein like beef or chicken?  I do take NAC each morning on an empty stomach, and later have a shake with flax oil and fruit, but wonder if I am wasting the fs oil at that time, as there is no protein (other than sometimes protein powder) in the shake.....

it s the mix of EFA and sulphur that do the trick, I believe......
so keep on taking your shakes with the oil and sulphur containing veggies or whatever fruit or egg.....
I add an egg to my smoothie with flax everyday.

there was a broccoli containing shake someone mentioned......not a bad idea.

And don't forget the sardines.  Great EFA source.

My own experience of dealing with cancer a few years ago is that the super beneficial foods that Dr. D lists in his Health Library series book on Cancer, are the best foods for discouraging cancer and encouraging healthy cells.  Also there is a very powerful list of supplements for each blood type chapter.

Basically above and beyond all the protocols you want a diet that will lower inflammation and that is what the btd does, cancer is caused by high inflammation causing stagnation in the cells

lower inflammation--> decrease inflammation levels.

It is important to remember however that it is not just foods but lifestyle that needs to be considered as well

clean air, exercise, low chemical exposure, ect.

Read LauraP's post a few times.  She is absolutely correct about the link between chronic inflammation and cancer.
