Starflower Oil is another common name for Borage Oil, which is at best is a Neutral {Avoid for O nonnies}.
For the GLA you are better off with Evening Primrose due to the processing method involved. {Also a person doesn't really need that much GLA - so does it really matter that its got more [my opinion]}.

...As regards Evening Primrose oil, typebase shows that as an avoid for O's, in which case Starflower is better if it is neutral.......
It is also known as Echium Oil {the older/alternate binomial for the genus Borago}
It used to be that Black Currant Oil and Borage Oil were produced by a solvent extraction, rather than the Evening Primrose which was pressed. So even if B.C. oil had GLA, after solvent processing I'd wager notta. But yes between hows/whyfors and BTs its hard to keep everything straight. However, both Borage and Primrose can be found/harvested readily...the flower buds are excellent, even the leaves....
