For those of you who have used NAP suppliments/products. If you were only able to get 1 thing from NAP what would it be? I should be able to get something from NAP fairly soon, but I'm only going to be able to afford to order 1 thing for now and was wondering what would be the most important single thing to order from them? I may be able to add other things at a later time but for now it's one thing at a time. |

If I could only get one thing, it would be the Polyflora A. That stuff has helped my elimination greatly. But to save on shipping costs (at least that's my justification), I usually also get Deflect A. Now I don't take the recommended amounts of either so they last me two or more months instead of one. |

I know what Deflect is and that's the one I've been considering getting - but I'm open for suggestions.
What is Polyflora exactly? |

I've linked the page for Polyflora O (since you are an O) HERE. Basically it's a probiotic and really helps the good bacteria to flourish in one's gut. There is a Polyflora specifically created for each of the blood types. |

Number 1 is Deflect! I agree about Polyflora. I also get the Proberry Caps and the Catechol. Catechol is Rhodiola and I find that it helps with stress. Jane |

One product? That's tough. I would have to say Deflect®, because of it's ability to release old lectins that are bound to receptor sites.
Next in line? Polyflora. Next in line? Larch.
I'd also start taking a tablespoon of ghee on an empty stomach in the morning. It's great food for the good bacteria in your colon, and helps promote good colon health.

So, it sounds like Deflect would be #1 from the other O's that have responded. Followed closely by Polyflora. Anyone else want to add their 2 cents? |

Something you might consider before purchasing the Deflect: Secretor Test. |

I would spend my money on something you can't find alternatives for at your local health food store.
That would have to be (for me) #1 PolyFlora #2 Deflect #3 ARA 6 (larch extract) #4 ProBerry |

I really do need to try and get some ghee - maybe I'll buy some butter and make it this weekend in the oven. I've never tried it but think I need to. Is it unsalted butter that you need to use to make it? |

I was in the same position as you of only being able to afford one thing to start with... I chose Deflect O & it was so worth it! Now a couple months later, I've ordered more Deflect, and I'm trying Catechol and a secretor test too. I haven't gotten the shippment yet, but I am really excited for when it comes. The Deflect was such a high quality supplement that it really made me trust NAP. |

My top NAP supplements that I use:
1) Deflect 2) Harmonia 2) ARA6
If I could recommend one NAP product, it would be Deflect as Dr. D'Adamo formulated this product for each specific ABO blood type; it cannot be sold in another version elsewhere.
Whereas, if one decides to do further research, probiotic supplements, green food powders, chlorella, larch, et al. can be purchased in HFS's and over the internet. The trust NAP products because I do not have to second guess if any portion of the supplement whether it is the capsule or contents within are not compatible with my blood type.

If you eat any avoids, then I'd suggest Deflect. |

I have really been trying to get away from the avoids and yesterday I finally had an avoid free day - yippee. Hopefully I can keep up with that trend but there are times when I do have avoids - so yes Deflect would probably be best to start with.
I should probably get some Deflect B for my husband as well - but we'll see how we're doing with money when I get a chance to order I guess. |

You do not have to use Deflect every day, only when needed. One bottle could potentially last you many, many months or a year or two. I believe the expiration date is usually two years.

For a poor person's version of Deflect, you could always get Kelp (fucus vesiculosus) |

Well, I finally did it - I just placed an order for some Deflect O. And I got one each of the chocolate cherry and blueberry almond bars to give them a try to see if I like them or not. I figured now would be a good time to get the Deflect with the holidays coming up.
Although I will make sure to not use the Deflect only as a liscense to eat a bunch of avoids either. I'm hoping the Deflect will help me stay on track better so I'm not having to take it all the time and hopefully make it last a little longer. |

Does anyone know how long it typically takes for a NAP shipment to arrive? |

For me (I live in Dallas, Texas), it usually takes anywhere from 4 to 7 days to arrive. BTW, I think you will like the deflect a lot. I love it. I just re-ordered some and also decided to try the chocolate cherry and blueberry almond bars as well! |

I got my order in the mail yesterday. Have taken a couple of doses of the deflect so far - they only thing I've really noticed is that I've been headachy - that's probably just from some avoids I had yesterday - or can deflect cause that in the begning maybe? How can I expect to feel while taking this? |

Well, it's been interesting since I've started taking these deflect. Still just at 2 doses - 1 at dinner last night and this morning with my breakfast - 2 tablets each time. Last night I had a hard time falling asleep - I'm wondering if this should be something I should not take close to bed time? And then today I have definately felt some feelings of detox - having to pee a lot - and not drinking much more liquids than I normally do and got rid of a good amount of solid waste earlier today as well - and then this was interesting to me (men may want to skip this since it's regarding female issues) - but I am towards the end of my period - on day 6 and things were really starting to taper off but today after taking the deflect it's almost like I'm back at the begining again - not really all that crampy but a little bit but I've had lots of flow including a short period of time that included some pretty good clotting - which I never see happen this far into my period - that's usually on day 2-3. It's nothing I'm worried about I just find it interesting - like my body is really cleaning itself out. I'm assuming this is all normal? |
