if you do not find those in typebase, try the general search button instead....... (located left on the main page) it s a great tool! ) anything not on typebase you might consider neutral, unless it disagrees with you. search under herbs, too.

From the Health Protocols: Anise Seed is good for all types. Sage is used for ABs. Fennel is used for Bs.
From TYPEBase, Blackberry is an avoid for Os.
Found no mention for Lemon Balm {Melissa officinalis}, so an untested Neutral

the applicable part of lemon balm is the leaf and leaf oil. Lemon balm seems to have sedative, antioxidant, and antiviral effects. (7,8,9,10) Lemon balm contains citronellal, neral, and geranial monoterpenoid aldehydes; flavonoids and polyphenolic compounds (including rosmarinic acid); and monoterpene glycosides. These substances may contribute to the behavioral effects of lemon balm dried leaf and essential oil. ( Some research suggests lemon balm might have acetylcholine receptor activity with both nicotinic and muscarinic binding properties. ( Clinical research suggests that lemon balm induces a calming effect and reduces alertness.

However, that doesn't necessarily mean that blackberry leaf would be an avoid for type O.
It has been the standard practice on this forum in the past to avoid all parts of the plant if an avoid. Also, it was only 'recently' that we have made exception for 'medicinal' use.
I agree, the leaf is another different thing entirely from the berry - however, it is still untested.
