My liver is happy, not clogged with hormones, my countenance good, my head is clear, enjoying life....
is there always a tradeoff to happiness and clarity.....now presenting like huge bleeding which was not the case the past 3 months using my SWAMI and abandoning toxic gluten-grains and experiencing candida die-off.
only one question remains:

WHY -   !!

I use only wild rice and black rice now as high protein grains. No overtly domesticated rice.
Am I not supposed to have rice, ever?

BTW taking vitamin A capsules did not staunch the situation, 6 months ago.

Is all of this thinning my viscosity as an A Explorer? I don't need to go thru such a loss. It is hard work on the body to renew all this.

Before you blame Deflect...please understand that you're 48 years old and bordering on menopause.

You are presently in peri-menopause and this is a reason to focus on balancing hormones. And
making sure your body is able to detox excess estrogen.   Chances are you're not producing the same ratio of estrogen to progesterone....could be having cycles that aren't the way things used to be.   I went through my 40s experiencing what you're describing and some cycles were normal, some skipped and others simply flooding.  By the time I was 53, I was done completely going through
this up and down roller coaster....but it is a roller coaster for some women....and the more body
fat you have, the higher your estrogen level. Estrogen is stored in fat cells...so consider that
you must make sure that your body rids itself of excess estrogen... Consider taking Calcium D glucarate....Detoxical...And please read the female health protocol...

http://www.dadamo.com/protocols/16.html

Healing is one thing....but every woman will go through some type of upheaval during her late 40s...and some, even earlier....so it's possible that although Deflect is helping your body pry off lectin damage, it's also possible that the timing of old symptoms returning is a coincidence.

Your body is still in transition, because you're not following this diet very long...and we heal like
onions....peeling layer after layer....sometimes we work hard, stay very compliant, arrive at a good place, stay there for awhile and other times, the onion starts peeling again and we appear to have small setbacks....but healing goes to a deeper level....and the cycle repeats itself over and over again.  I'm on this diet since I'm 47....and even while following the BTD rather compliantly, I felt I was on a hormonal roller coaster until I fully went through menopause.

Your liver might not be clogged with hormones....your fat cells might be.

Do not give up hope...It would be impossible to answer your question "WHY"...because hormones
aren't constant...there are so many foods that contain pesticides and residual environmental
estrogen. Plastics that touch food and water would be a xenoestrogen (toxin) your body perceives
as estrogen......be careful not to drink out of plastic water bottles...be
careful of foods that have been cooked in funky fats...be sure to wash produce carefully if not
using organic.... Healing is a constant process as our bodies unload one type of toxin one day
and focus elsewhere on another day.  Our cells are forever replicating and cleansing.

I'm working on healing for decades and I have had many types of different setbacks. I think we'd
all agree, this happens to most of us.

Please be patient and keep your mind focused on eating well and doing the best you can.  You've
accomplished so much since you first came to this forum...Hang in there, Seraffa  {{{{{hugs}}}}

excess estrogen will cause weight gain.

Foods to reduce estrogen dominance

"Meet the cruciferous vegetable family! They are broccoli, cabbage, kale, brussels sprouts and cauliflower. This family of vegetables contains sulfur compounds (can be gas forming) and indole-3-carbinol. These guys bind to estrogen and escort it out of the body. Have three servings a day. These veggies can be eaten raw in salads (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and kale) or steamed (brussels sprouts). Kale makes wonderful healthy chips baked in the oven with some olive oil and sea salt.
Hello green leafy vegetables! Spinach, celery, rucola, parsley, dandelions, Swiss chard. Have 2-3 servings a day. Gren leafy’s make great salads and can be blended in smoothies. Adding one banana to your smoothie will mask the grassy taste. If drinking a green drink is not your thing, add a handful of frozen blueberries or cherries to make it purple and taste of berries. A dash of stevia and vanilla essence compliment this gourmet combination.

Good morning sunshine! Fruits which remind us of our beautiful sun are all the citrus fruits; lemons, oranges, grapefruits (ruby red and yellow), mandarines, tangerines, pomelos and limes. Citrus fruits contain d-limonene which helps detoxify estrogen. Aim for one serving a day. You can juice them, eat them and add their juice to a variety of dishes. Organic lemons and oranges can be blended whole and make a great addition to smoothies making them taste delightful. If you are going to use the peel (which is very healthy) make sure to wash the fruit and use only organic fruits as pesticides can get absorbed into the essential oils found in the peel of citrus fruits. Pesticides act as xeno-estrogens, so you want to avoid getting exposed to them.
Grandma knows best! Apple a day, keeps the doctor away. Insoluble fibre found in apples, oats, berries and beans binds to estrogen in your small intestines and stops it from being absorbed. That way you can reduce your exposure to xeno-estrogens from your diet. Aim for two servings a day.
Lastly these small seeds contain more than meets the eye! Sesame seeds and flax seeds contain estrogen binging lignans. Aim for two to three tablespoons a day. You can have flaxseed oil or ground up flaxseeds, sesame seeds sprinkled in salad or ground up in a paste called tahini. Flaxseeds are also rich in omega 3 fatty acids."

Chloe shared so many great things, but I was thinking detox when I read your post.  Keep on doing the right things & you will see more results, but unfortunately there are bumps along the way!

I'm eventually deleting this thread. Problem is solved. It was the rice, as I said in the beginning.

Personally I think this thread is worth leaving (even if just for the effort in the tips Chloe posted) It still sounds to me like the estrogen tbh and considering peri-menopausal age, it is useful for others to note?!
Re the crucifix vegs I still find if I eat cabbage (which does not cause gas for me - unless eaten raw and in excess) the weight drops off me effortlessly (even without much exercise)

I observed patients of mine with the same problem, Seraffa, but think about also of your stressful private situation... the longer my patients were in such a situation as well, the more it became obvious to come along with a sort of recidif...sorry but true... .... have you ever worked also with a therapist in your area knowing about psychosomatic issues... we need to cope onto different levels at the same time... if not  this stays only fragmental work...so far better to come along with all
kind of levels ....wish you quickest recovery from yours amiga Isa
