Hey Nonnie Clubbers, I didn't want to add to the overly long thread already on this so thought I'd start a new one for new-nonnies or recently found status nonnies like me! Do you get tense when washing up? And when you clean your teeth? I find it so hard to relax when doing these! Relaxation is a problem in general altho getting better at it as get older (52 now). Also, when people make me jump for fun, I go nuts at them! Used to feel so bad about myself for not being a good sport like that. I have a sense of humour alright but it just frightens me! To me that is not fun. Never liked practical jokes.
I recognise so many of the nonnie traits in the thread, like noises, lights, smells, molds in foods and on plates, being on edge, teeth full of fillings, hair tickling face and itchy end of nose - oh man! Yes, I would be scared to wear flip flops. And always too 'ot! Or I'm cold! Oh and I can't wear nylon! Feels so horrible and hot on my skin. So nice to see other people feeling the same! We are not alone, altho we are small percentage of population, there's plenty of us out there.
Oh and did I mention how eating wrong (most?) foods kills my energy! Have always thought, I feel fine when I don't eat! Couldn't understand how people could get really fat. I'd just be asleep all the time. Ultra sensitivity to wheat and sugar... need I go on?

Hmm I'm kinda private about washing up and stuff - always been. I don't really enjoy public saunas of swimming pools etc. But it's nice to know it gets easier with the years piling up
